★ 5Do NOT skip out on a meal here. This is not just a grab and go shop! Ordered a bunch of things to try... everything was incredible. Immaculate kitchen and dining area, friendly staff, DELICIOUS Filipino food. The family and I went twice within 24 hours. This is a family favorite whenever we visit Maine! 🩷 Thank you Josie & team!

★ 5This is the most unique place you will visit. Country store with all of the daily supplies, imported food items, fresh grab and go sandwich and salads. The real gem is the dining room. With a menu pages long, there is surely an option for everyone. The food features unique flavor combinations! Please visit this “country store” for one of the best meals around at a fair price!

David was our server and he was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right without being overbearing. You can really tell he cares about the guest experience.

★ 5I need to preface this review by saying that my husband and I eat out often. Josie’s was by far the best restaurant we experienced on our trip to Maine. I had an amazing breakfast of blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon, and home fries with peppers and onions, along with fresh-squeezed orange juice and coffee. Everything was made to perfection.
After spending the afternoon shopping and walking around Bar Harbor, we couldn’t decide on a restaurant in the area for dinner—so we made our way back to Josie’s. Once again, we were blown away. The cocktails were fantastic, and the mussels were unlike anything we’ve had anywhere else—absolutely unforgettable. The fish tacos and truffle fries were fresh and flavorful, and everything came out hot.
The owner’s attention to detail, the quality of the food, and overall business sense are things more restaurants should aspire to. Josie’s is a gem! -

★ 5What a great use of space. A gas station like store with space for serving food. When we first walked in, we did not know where to go. So look for the glass doors on the side for dine in options. We had French toast and omelets for breakfast. The was good and you have a good amount of choices to select from. Service was fine, maybe a little more attention to drink levels. Overall, the experience was good.
