  John’s Cafe is hands down the best diner in Dallas. Their pancake combo is our favorite and it makes for the perfect breakfast! The staff is so kind and they run their operation efficiently so you never have to wait long for a table!

  Imagine if Bukowski owned and ran a diner before the city became gentrified slop. order anytime after 1pm and John will just scoff and shake his head at you. but I find it endearing. note: they lock the doors and close the blinds at 1:40pm every day. anyways, thanks John for always serving this late night bartender at 1pm for breakfast ❤️‍🔥

  Fabulous little diner! Quick, hearty breakfast just like mama used to make. Fresh hot coffee with free refills (green handle is decaf). Delicious chicken fried steak. Over-easy eggs cooked just right. Homestyle cheese grits. Just-right omelettes.

  Best breakfast in dallas served from a wonderful Greek family. Best atmosphere and very popular place on Greenville! John & Dino are hilarious characters that make you feel at home. At John’s everybody is part of the family. Make sure to say “calimera”

  East Dallas with great flavor. I was in search of a hole in the wall with great food and found this. The moment you walk in, you smell the delicious food, feel the welcoming vibe, and hear the clinking of coffee mugs and plates being prepared to serve. I ordered the combo omelet with all meats and veggies-fantastic! I’ll definitely will be coming back more often.
