  So far the best lunch I’ve had in Harpswell, maybe in Maine! Wonderful folks inside and fresh, healthy bowls and sandwiches. Beet slaw has my heart. Lovely dog friendly patio as well. My only qualm is I wish they’d be open all year! 🩷🩷

  You know how a lot of restaurants put underripe, flavorless tomatoes on sandwiches? That's NOT how they do things at Iris Eats. We live nearby and frequently order sandwiches to go, and every single one has been perfection - lightly toasted sourdough with a hint of buttery flavor, quality cheese, fresh microgreens, and juicy, ripe tomatoes. Prices are reasonable, service is fast and friendly, and the baked goods are always worth a look. The only thing that would make it better is if they had more vegetarian options and maybe some sides to order - macaroni salad, potato salad, beets with vinegar/oil + goat cheese or feta, something portable like that. We never eat the chips, but we'd happily forego the chips and pay more for some good sides. If you're in the area, this is an underrated gem for a quick lunch.

  Snagged a breakfast sandwich this morning & it was absolutely delicious. Very cute indoor dining area. I saw a dark chocolate lavender cake in the cooler? Very intriguing. I'll be back for sure.

  Ate here on Saturday Oct 11, 2025. Elyse was so nice and engaging. The food was EXCELLENT!! The 3 of us had the Waldoboro, the Iris, and the Owls Head. Such great food. Highly recommend making Iris Eats part of your stay in the Harpswell area!!!

  LOVE this place! Look forward to going every time we're in Harpswell. The quality of the food (high quality bread, vibrant/fresh/diverse vegetables, creative/thoughtful recipes) has surprised me every time, and the atmosphere / folks are so nice. You can sit inside in the bright and clean dining area, or go out on the deck to eat while looking out over a shipyard and the water. They also have a nice selection of drinks in a refrigerator which are handy to grab and go, I love the oat milk latte. Today I had the Asian crunch salad (pictured) and it was delicious. Highly recommend!
