★ 4I was pleasantly surprised by this visit. I’ve been to IHOPs all across the USA, and they’re typically mediocre at best. This was my first visit to an IHOP since moving to MA two years ago.
The food was delicious and looked more or less like the picture on the menu. I had the spicy poblano omelette with Cinnastack pancakes. Will visit again around the same time in hopes of having the same chef.
The service was a bit slow because there was only one person working tables and to-go orders. This may be due to the time (Tuesday ~8:30am) being a slower time for business in general and only having one person scheduled because of it. Regardless of the speed of service, they were very friendly and as attentive as they could be while doing many other things. I think one other person would’ve helped service along a bit. I saw two parties walk out because there wasn’t anyone to show them to their seats. Unfortunate because the food was really good and the server was very friendly. -

★ 5I will need more stars for describe how amazing is this place in Customer service; especially Joan who take my order it was very professional , knowledgeable , friendly ,fast and I can keep going, please allow Yourself to come here and have the same experience I have and the food was delicious as well, thanks Joan for make us a very happy customer and make us feel so welcome …and everything is neat and clean; how I like.😊definitely come back and recommend :

★ 5Salem, IHOP-I love it here! Naima provided excellent service and was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. Brittany, the General Manager, is always so friendly and welcoming, making us feel valued every time we come in.
The food was amazing and served fresh and hot. Marianna was also fantastic and made sure our table was always cleared promptly whenever needed.
The outstanding customer service from the entire team, combined with the great food, keeps us coming back. Highly recommend! 😊 -

★ 2This is my go to place especially after work or working out. But I was just kind of disappointed. I entered the place like I always do, and I think a manager or supervisor told me to just go in and pick a seat so I did. This was around 945am. (I’m sure I wasn’t supposed to but she technically seated me bcuz she gave me a menu - she was very nice).
I heard her say my table cuz not long after that Naima T, my server came to me. She seemed very short with me like I’ve done something wrong. I said my pleases and thank yous and even smiled when she seemed impatient (tapping her fingers on the back of my booth chair while I told her my order) I just wanted over easy instead of scrambled eggs. She gave me my receipt quickly even before I have eaten half my food. Amongst other red flags, I was getting annoyed. I was so polite. On top of that, it was a $6 meal (+11 free pancakes cuz of app rewards). 20% tip was $3 and I gave her a $10 despite of how she treated me, like I was unwanted. Then she became super friendly.
I get that people get busy and have off days. I didn’t ask for much. I legit asked for a very simple meal. (Got my meal in less than 10mins, that’s how easy.) and yes I felt rushed and unwanted.

★ 4Great diner for family and friends. Wonderfully food. Would highly recommend the cheesecake Belgium waffles. As well as the chicken and waffles. Great establishment wonderful service.
