  Wanted to have a diner style breakfast and this place was recommended by staff members at our hotel. What a great recommendation. I really enjoyed my breakfast. I had two buttermilk pancakes which were really fluffy and lite along with two pieces of bacon. It was really good and the service was great.

  Loved it! My family and I came for dinner. We were only able to spend one night in San Diego and this place hit the spot for us hungry yet tired travelers. The food was quick and delicious, the staff were always checking in, the food prices were reasonable compared to where we came from, and the place was beautiful! If we ever come back to California, we will definitely stop here again!

  Enjoyed a delicious lunch with family. My smash hamburger and fries was yummy. The BLT sandwich and fries had thick slices of tasty bacon. The portions were large. Service was very good also.

  Regular HobNob customer here, this was our place. The place that we would always come to for a great breakfast, amazing service, and just good vibes. The servers were always smiling and on point, and so was the food. As of recently this little gem went under new ownership and a lot of things have changed; down to the smiling and charming employees that used to work for our favorite little place. The food was mediocre at best and the service was horrible, there's a very visible change in the quality of the food things are bought frozen and served not homemade like they used to and for the price is def not worth it . Three people spent over 90 dlls for some really horrible food we didn't feel the love and we will def not be coming back. It's sad, when new ownership takes over and now all they care about is the bottom line.

  I loved my experience at the Hob Nob Hill.
  It's definitely a hidden Gem.
  Well worth it for a great experience and quality food and service.
  The waiter told us to come back since they offer live music someday's.
  I would recommend coming here.
