★ 5First stop in Martha’s Vineyard and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Maple Sausage Hash + Eggs, and it was absolutely delicious, savory, and surprisingly healthy. The portion was just right. The wait was short, even during a busy breakfast time, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. Great service, great food, and a perfect way to start our visit to the island. Highly recommend!

★ 5Awesome new year-round place from the same hospitality professionals that operate such Vineyard favorites as Nancy’s, Nomans, and Aalia’s. Highlands General has a broad selection of fast and easy grab n’ go items or choose from their menu for options made fresh to order. Highlands also as has a large choice of cold & hot beverages, and a heathy dose of retail & clothing items available for purchase. The space is bright and welcoming with generous indoor cafe seating if you prefer to dine in, or great to-go for the beach or a picnic on one of Oak Bluffs many parks. A great new addition to the Vineyard community that is sure to become a year-round staple for locals + visitors alike ✅

★ 5Did not know what to expect as I really loved Linda Jean’s and was a bit skeptical of the no table service concept. It takes some adjustment. But honestly, it works, the staff are friendly, the pace is easy. What won me over completely is the food. It’s excellent, full stop. The kind of food that reminds you why you bother eating out at all.
It’s not Linda Jean’s. But it’s really, really good and that counts for a lot. -

★ 4Really nice space. Easy to order, fun menu, the market area is a nice touch. Stocking some cool stuff for sure. My only critique is more of a suggestion - they give you the option of adding ‘greens’ to your breakfast sandwich. In every other instance I have seen this offered, it’s usually either spinach or arugula. At Highlands, it is shredded lettuce. Which is fine but that should be specified. The shredded lettuce on top of my bacon egg and cheese was just really strange and took away from what was an awesome sandwich otherwise.
