★ 5When the owner is at the host stand, it’s going to be an incredible meal. Focused on attentive service of crafted dishes that enhance ingredients. Clean and welcoming atmosphere, delicious cocktails, & a spot bold enough to list a breakfast shot as a specialty.
Ingredients are nurtured and prepared with meticulous devotion. Shrimp and grits include grilled jalapeno and smoked tomato, adding richness and depth of flavor.
Consider it a STL staple you cannot miss. -

★ 5So I stopped here at Hatch today for my birthday 12/3 and had a chance to meet Jason, awesome guy. My waitress was Jessica who was just as awesome. Excellent service, 10 outta 10. Very warm, friendly, family oriented place. My food was very flavorful and delicious. We had the skillet deals and single pancake. Jason even brought out a complimentary birthday pancake with the Smiley face. Lol. This was my first time here, (go figure for my birthday) and I had an excellent time. It's just a laid back spot, cozy and cool. You just relax, hang out and have a good breakfast. I promise you it's the simple things in life. So go ahead and go check HATCHED out and tell them BennyBronco from the South sent cha! Cheers!

★ 5We have been driving by this restaurant by evening since they opened up. But decided to give them a try since we were there in the morning. And we are very happy to have made that decision.
We showed up for breakfast and the wait to be seated was about 20 minutes. But decided to sit by the bar area right away. We ordered Hot in Hurr skillet and the waffle. The skillet was definitely one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Definitely would go back. -

★ 5We wanted a good breakfast place before heading home to Illinois on this rainy day and we definitely found one! We put ourselves on the online waitlist when we found the place. Parking was a little rough but definitely worth it. All of the employees were extremely nice and helpful. Even the owner came by and gave us some history of the art piece on the wall next to us while checking on us. The food was outstanding. We both had special omelettes. My wife had a Greek omelette and i had a turkey club omelette. Hmmmm So good! Her grits were some of the best she has had and my hasbrowns were perfect . Try the black iced coffee! We will definitely be back!

★ 5This place has been on my list of places to try. I finally got the chance to go. My friend and I came here on our off day from work. We were able to get in right away and get seated. We sat at a high top table near the bar.
This is a small restaurant that can be crowded during peak hours. If you go early in the morning, you should be able to get in without a wait.
I ordered a sweet Sarah Mimosa and the strawberry basil French toast w/ a side of bacon and eggs. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The French toast weren’t overly sweet, they had a slight crunch, all while still being soft and fluffy. The syrup wasn’t overly sweet, and was nice and warm. The eggs were cooked to my liking (scrambled with cheese) and the bacon was nice and crispy, not salty. The sweet Sarah mimosa was flavorful with the perfect ratio of strawberry to champagne.
Service was excellent. Our server gave us the perfect amount of time to browse the menu, got our drink and food orders in,and checked on us periodically.
Pricing was reasonable. Parking can be a hassle as it’s street parking. The residential areas fill up quickly and Main Street parking can be a hazard.
