★ 5Hubby and I enjoyed the breakfast! We will definitely return. The atmosphere and vintage feel of the place was awesome. Food was good, portion size was perfect! The coffee was amazing! There was a little wait as the place is not very big but it was worth it.

★ 5Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro is a true downtown Boise gem. Small, cozy breakfast spot with big flavor. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, local, and full of that classic hometown taste that just hits right. Every bite is flavorful, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. You can tell they care about what they serve and the people they serve it to. If you’re in downtown Boise and want an amazing breakfast, this place is a must. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, you won’t regret it.

★ 4Pros & cons:nnPros: hosts & servers are super-nice. If they're busy & they usually are, they'll ask if you'd like to wait at Goldy's Corner just a few yards away, you can order coffee & pastries there, & they'll call you when your table's ready. Drip coffee is amazing. They have mango, guava, & other juices. Orange juice tastes fresh-squeezed. Lots of unusual menu items, influenced by Basque culture.
Cons: the food, which was reasonably good, took forever, juices were lukewarm, Eggs Benedict's hollandaise was a bit lemony rather than savory, portions (sides) were a little small, grits had zero flavor -- even when you add tons of salt & butter, restrooms (only two stalls upstairs) are cramped, no handicapped stall or ramp. -

★ 3Honestly, I was a little disappointed:(. This place had crazy reviews and maybe it is a local favorite and that's why. But we were just ok with the place. It was a 30 minute wait which is totally understandable with how popular it was. However, they were sitting table of 4s of people who came after us? I'm not sure if they recognized them and that's why but it was a little frustrating. The service was nice but a little slow on food. We all ordered the same thing. Eggs Benedict with the Goldy's potatoes and a coffee. The Goldy's potatoes were the star of the show but the hollandaise sauce was kind of on the sweeter side. Just wasn't a huge fan, unfortunately. If you are a tourist like us maybe try a less well know place for some better food and atmosphere. The place is super small and dusty. The place could use an upgrade....
