  I had a great lunch at Genesee Public House, located inside the Hyatt. The bartender was friendly and on top of service. My wings and fries were a little overpriced, but I felt the quality made it worth it. I ordered the medium wings, fries, and mint & green tea crème brulee, all of which were delicious. I've never had a different flavor of crème brulee, so it was a neat experience to try something different. Before eating here I was a little hesitant based on past reviews, but I did not have any issues. Pleasantly surprised.

  I am not blaming the staff at all. It is management that needs to make changes. There was only ONE person running the bar and waiting tables. Don't get me wrong she was fantastic, but I can see how this leads to other peoples' complaints about long wait times. By all means the restaurant was small, but there should be at least two people there. The food tasted great.

  In December of 2025, my mom and I went on a lunch date here around 1pm but that was before their hours were changed. It’s a very relaxing enviornment, has good food, also the waiters are super kind. Since their hours have been changed, maybe the ladies and I can go for dinner someday.

  It took 45 minutes for my steak to arrive, and when it finally did, it was frozen in the middle. When I complained, the waiter offered to reheat it, which was completely unacceptable. I asked to return it and ordered wings instead, only to wait another 40 minutes for them. Terrible experience—definitely not recommended!

  Don’t waste your money. I ordered the chicken sandwich thinking it was a safe bet, It was burnt and dry. The fries were soggy and ice cold, after taking the elevator to my room only, and i highly suspect it was microwaved. I was the only food order at the time. Lazy and incompetent cook, absolutely horrid.
