★ 5Very empty on a Sunday morning. We missed the in room ordering that ended at 1015. We were seated right away and given a good amount of attention. Food was good and hotel priced. We thought the avocado on the açaí bowl was interesting but it was very fresh and good with my toast. Eggs cooked how we ordered. Chicken sausage was juicy.

★ 5My family is obsessed with Fountain restaurant for their brunch. It is nestled within the Signia by Hilton San Jose, this place offers a refined brunch experience that blends classic American dishes with French-inspired flair.
The restaurant boasts a bright and airy setting, enhanced by modern white interiors with blue accents, creating an inviting and classy ambiance.
The brunch menu features a variety of delectable options such as Eggs Benedict, Salmon Florentine, Avocado toast and classics like French toast, different style omelettes too.
The service is great with attentive and friendly staff.
It can get a little pricey but worth it for an upscale experience. It definitely provides a sophisticated brunch setting in downtown San Jose -

★ 1I felt racially profiled and treated poorly by staff. The food was bland and the the upcharge of $7 for any add on is ridiculous. If you’re gonna be such an expensive restaurant at least have good food. I had even started eating and they placed the check on the table like kicking me out already. Definitely never going back in there.

★ 3This place has great ambiance and is located conveniently in the Hilton.
Service was good until the end. Waited for long at the end to pay the bill with my credit card. Guess they assumed I would charge to my room. and ambiance was superb!
Food needs a little help.
Started with “fresh squeezed” orange juice which is definitely store bought. Tastes good but wasn’t freshly squeezed.
Latte was a better choice for a hot beverage. Has great flavor.
Steel cut oatmeal was ok. Fruit on top was fresh. Served with milk and syrup on the side…who uses syrup on oatmeal?
My wife tried the Lobster Benedict and she said it’s a 3.5 out of 5. She would have ordered something else. -

★ 4**update 10/6/24**nIt's been several years since our last visit (pre-pandemic). The hotel had changed from the Fairmont to the Hilton, but the food remains excellent.
Breakfast is terrific, but I have to say that service is all over the place. Again staffing (or lack thereof) is key. Management needs to step it up. It's a fine restaurant located inside the Fairmont Hotel (downtown San Jose), but handles itself like a new establishment that hasn't settled in yet.
