★ 4The service here was truly the highlight—our waitress was wonderful, attentive, and absolutely deserves recognition. All of the employees were friendly and helpful, and we left a good tip because the service was excellent.
Unfortunately, the food itself was very mediocre. It’s clear this place is popular with locals who know the staff, but based on food alone, it didn’t really impress. I wouldn’t recommend the French toast, and while the pancakes were fluffy, they lacked flavor and really needed a quality salty butter (something like Kerrygold would make a big difference). With a few small upgrades beyond basic Restaurant Depot ingredients, the menu could be so much better.
The fresh-pressed orange juice was delicious, though—a standout item.
The bathrooms were in noticeably poor condition and are overdue for renovation, though they did have soap and plenty of toilet paper.
Overall: fantastic service, but the food and facilities need attention. -

★ 4On our way to spend a few days in St. Pete Beach, we were looking for a breakfast spot and Egg Haven came up.
Pulled into a small parking lot. Were encouraged by the fact that it wasn't empty. Indication the food is good.
We were seated immediately. It has a diner vibe and I love diners. I was even more hyped when I caught sight of the giant orange juice press!
My husband, as per usual, ordered chicken and waffles. If it's on the menu, he's getting it. I ordered a western skillet with 2 eggs over easy.
While we waited for our meal, the table across from us got there food. And it was a beautiful, crispy fried catfish!!! My husbands other favorite food. Apparently it was on the specials menu by the door that we, like rookies, totally missed. We promised we there would be another visit for the fish.
The waffles were fluffy on the inside & crispy on the outside. The chicken was actually tenders. They were good. My western skillet was alot of food. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I lamented that the ham was diced up so small that it was barely there. The potatoes could have used some seasoning, maybe some paprika and definitely some more salt.
The service was efficient and friendly. Next time we are nearby we would return. -

★ 5We are visiting Tampa for the weekend and wanted to try a local spot, this location was absolutely lovely. The music, the amazing service, and the incredible food makes this a must try. Our server, Christina, was attentive, kind, and made the experience amazing. I highly reccomend and will be coming back!

★ 4December 9am, loads of parking, no wait. Very nice service. I had the meat omelet very nice! Overall was great, LOVE the FRESH ORANGE JUICE! Worth the $8 all day for a large. Will be back for sure. Beat the crowd and wait, get there early.

★ 5Had the chicken waffle...big giant waffle and two big pieces of lightly breaded chicken. Chicken tender and moist. Ordered some bacon for my dog and tried a piece, very meaty but also fatty (I removed the fatty parts). My dog loved it. They have a patio for outdoor seating so I was able to bring my dog. Just noise from the cars but you can still talk.
