★ 5This is our second time hosting an event catered by East Boothbay General Store. Elizabeth and her team did a phenomenal job. They advised us on menu options that would travel well, packed everything carefully and delivered it to the ferry. The whole process was simple and seamless. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and abundant. Our guests really enjoyed it.
This event was a memorial service, and I was very grateful to East Boothbay General Store catering for making my hosting duties so much easier during a difficult time. -

★ 3This place used to be my favorite sandwich spot but they've made changes in the last couple of years to the detriment of their sandwiches. I think that's why I'm so critical of it, I know they used to be SO awesome and I miss it. I understand these are practical changes so the wait times are shorter and because there is not enough room for a larger staff to work in the tiny kitchen... so I get it, I'm just sad about it.
All sandwiches are grab and go... no special orders. I used to love the hummus veggie wrap but I can't order it without olives. I used to love the Thai chicken wrap but I can't order it without red peppers (I've had it with red peppers but it wasn't worth the indigestion), etc. I just had the Bahn Mi and it is decent but isn't on a crusty baguette and is missing a sweet note. I miss the pulled pork!
We often come in with a bigger group and the majority of people want the Thai chicken wrap but there are usually only 2 available in the cooler so most people can't get their first choice of sandwich.
This is really picky of me but I don't like cold bread, I think it ruins the texture of a sandwich, it makes wraps brittle! They go through the trouble of toasting the bread for some sandwiches and then they put them in a cooler! A tragedy!
Next time I'll try the Cuban and hope it's my new favorite.
Baked goods are awesome, coffee is great, shop has great stuff, I haven't had a pizza in a while but I remember it being good! -

★ 5Stopped in on my daughters birthday. We were greeted with such enthusiasm and just amazing customer service. She insisted on giving us a muffin for her birthday(absolutely yummy). Went back in the morning for breakfast pizza and coffee and the customer service continued to be wonderful. Not fake or forced, pure love and enjoyment from all staff.
High prices but in a tourist town, that's expected. I would pay that any day for the amazing food and wonderful staff. -

★ 4Small cute little store, worth a stop if you want a quick sandwich, coffee drink or slice of pizza. The cooler has cold drinks, sandwiches, salads. Prices aren't too bad, unlike many other places in Boothbay.
We shared a pre-made tuna sandwich on toast which was very large and really tasty!! Yum! -

★ 5Great little store. Had nice seating outside and the food was a good value. I would recommend stopping, we stopped for tee shirts. The tuna sandwich was wonderful, enough for two people.
