Such a friendly southern vibe here! The servers are attentive and quick. So far my favorite thing is the breakfast sandwich. Very filling. The pancakes are photo worthy and ideal for those who like them soft and fluffy. This spot is popular so make a reservation unless you dont mind sitting at the bar. They also have lunch options that I hope to try. Lastly, save room for ice cream!

We came here because I googled good eats and southern cuisine and it looked yummy. This is a very small hole in the wall The menu options are plentiful I ordered the “ thought dog” Which is sausage with onions and peppers, and my side was hush puppies. The dog itself? Absolutely cooked to perfect perfection and a perfect snap to the bite. The peppers and onions were scrumptious, but skimpy at best The hush puppies? The reason I came. They were burnt to the point where I couldn’t taste anything but burnt. Needless to say one bite and we left those there My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy He said it was decent but rivaled food service The restaurant was empty at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday besides one other table The service was impeccable, and the little guy taking care of us was just sweet as could be I really enjoyed the staff and they seem to really care whether or not we liked our foodnI would stop it again just for the sausage dog and give them another shot at the hush puppies

Sunrise breakfast sandwich is hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Thought i would miss the hash browns but I totally did not! Whenever I go to Madison I make sure I go here at least once. I have turned a couple of friends on, that live here, now they frequent

I had the biscuits and sausage gravy. I added sausage patties to my order because there just wasn't enough sausage in the gravy. There were tiny bits of sausage in the gravy. The biscuits were good. The price of the dish was very reasonable.

My son and I went to Eats for a Saturday morning brunch. Our experience was great. Our server was friendly and fast! The food came out so quickly that even my typically inattentive son commented on how fast the service was. I went for the pancakes because I'd heard great things, and they we thick, fluffy, and yummy. But the breakfast bowl stole the show!!! Sooooo good. I was a little hesitant to order because most restaurants don't get sausage gravy right, but EATS did. Will definitely be ordering that again on my return visit. The coffee was good, hot, and not watered down at all. My son had the good morning burger and loaded fries, which he said were both really good. Our meal was around $40 for two (which is almost unheard of these days). Overall, we had a great experience and will be going back. One thing to note is that there is a small price difference when paying with a card vs. paying with cash (not even a full 2 bucks). But it's not a surprise charge. It's noted on the ticket before you pay so you can make an informed decision.
