Dutch’s easily cracked the top 5 on my Portland breakfast sandwich tour. The fried chicken biscuit is absolutely top notch. Street parking can be a little tricky, but once you’re in, there’s plenty of seating and a nice spacious setup. Definitely worth the stop.

Cozy, classic diner experience. Went for breakfast shortly after opening. Service was quick. I liked their method of ordering at the counter, seating yourself then being served. Just remember to grab your utensils. Try anything with a biscuit. Can't go wrong with a Portland Breakfast.

I was on the hunt for a solo breakfast spot, and I stumbled upon Dutch's while walking around the area after another spot was looking at 45 minutes for a table. I am happy I stopped here, because the food was really good! I found the hashbrowns to be out of this world and the blueberry pancakes to be wonderful. The only downside was the biscuit being fairly dry, but it was still tasty. Seating options are varied with booths, table and bar style seats at the window.

Came across this joint on a walk, the food isn’t bad, but definitely not worth the price. Our meal (2 English muffin sandwiches and 2 large cold brewed) were $40. You walk in and wait in line to order, water is self serve, our order came wrong, and you have to put your own dishes away. The “not so traditional” sandwich is supposed to come with egg whites, but came with yolks. Understated retro diner vibe, but without diner prices or service.

Definitely wouldn’t come back but to each their own!

Great home made bread is the center of this establishment. That sets the tone for a great venue especially when you are ordering the Cuban, as I did. All other items ordered were also good. Nice spot to end our 2 day trip
