We came for breakfast on a quiet January morning. It’s warm and the staff is welcoming. There are lots of coffee and tea choices. We also had the Steak and Egg Breakfast Sandwich.

Had a great experience here. I had a veggie sub with tofu, kimchi and some other good stuff. Price was a bit on the high side. The atmosphere is very chill with a combination of virtual workers and diners. The space was a bit noisy so conversation was difficult. Overall, a great pace for lunch either alone or with friends catching up.

Dooby’s is described as a Korean-inspired café, and while the menu does reflect that influence, the exterior and interior don’t give off a distinctly Korean vibe. That said, it’s a cozy, modern spot with a wide selection of coffee drinks, pastries, and food items—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I stopped in for a coffee break and tried one of their house-made syrup lattes. I went with the Miso Caramel latte ($4.50), s믭 with oat milk for an extra $0.75. It didn’t have a strong miso flavor, but it was still smooth and enjoyable. I also grabbed a Lavender Goat Cheese Scone for $4, which was a highlight. You could see the lavender tea leaves baked in and the goat cheese crumble gave it a savory edge that balanced the floral notes beautifully—highly recommend trying it if you like unique pastries.

The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with plenty of seating. It’s the kind of place where people come to chat, study, or work—easygoing and not too loud. They also have a water station with free water available, which is a nice touch.

Check out the menu photos if you want to explore more food options and prices. I’d definitely come back to try their full menu next time. A great spot for coffee, conversation, or getting some work done.

I had high hopes for this spot based on the reviews but left pretty disappointed. The pork belly benedict wasn’t great; the poached eggs and scallion hollandaise were watery, the kimchi was nonexistent, the buns tasted old, and the pork belly could use more char and a sauce of some kind. The potatoes tasted old and like they had been refried multiple times. The coffee was sour and the decor/paint in the cafe could use a refresh. I wouldn’t go back again.
