★ 4We got to the DK Diner at brunch time. There was a line waiting for a table. We were not greeted on arrival and were not aware that we needed to track down the host to put our name on the wait list until we saw other diners arriving after us do so. Not a big deal since we weren’t in a huge hurry. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated and the server was at our table quickly to take our order and point out the self-serve beverage service area. I went to prepare our beverages and our made to order meals followed a few minutes later. My wife ordered a Turkey Club accompanied by crispy, hot fries. I ordered a Spanish Omelette filled with sausage, onions, green peppers, and a sparse amount of cheese. The omelette came with potatoes and dry rye toast. My coffee was hot and not too strong. I like it that way. I’m pretty sure I got the DK Diner House Blend. We both agreed the food was four star good. The service was prompt and friendly until our meals were served and then disappeared. Another server asked us after we finished eating if we were done and brought us our check. The diner is pretty run down physically inside and out. Parking is limited and maneuvering very tight. The service seems to favor regular diners who know the routine. Fair enough. Would we eat there again? I suppose if we were in the area we would.

★ 3We were in town on vacation from Kansas and chose DK Diner for breakfast because of its long history, early 6 a.m. opening, and its proximity to our VRBO.
We arrived at opening, and the place was pretty quiet — which made it easy to overhear the staff grumbling (a little loudly) about a coworker. Understandable early-morning frustration, but not really something you want to hear over breakfast, especially while on vacation. It’s kind of a pet peeve of ours (that kind of behind-the-scenes chatter feels unprofessional.) Guests really shouldn’t have to hear it.
The hash was awesome! It is really flavorful and unique without being too spicy. It was the highlight of our meal.
The French toast was a letdown and honestly something we could’ve made better at home. The donuts, which we were most excited for, didn’t taste fresh. They were tough, a bit stale, and way too sweet. We sampled both an apple fritter and a sour cream donut; unfortunately, neither one was tasty and sadly, didn't live up to the DK (donut kitchen) hype.
We’d come back just for the hash, but we’d skip the sweets next time. Seating inside is limited (it filled up fast) and parking is tight, but there’s some street parking and covered outdoor seating.
Our visit was on Thursday 09/18/25 -

★ 5Went to DK Diner with my mom after a procedure, and it was actually suggested by my doctor. From the outside, the place gives off a little bit of a questionable vibe, but I’ve learned a long time ago—never judge a book by its cover. Some of the best places are little hole-in-the-wall spots.
Once inside, it was a great environment with a very friendly staff. The hospitality and food suggestions were much appreciated. Since it was our first time there, our waitress even brought us out a couple of their fresh-made donuts to try, which were excellent.
I ordered the Gladdington — egg, bacon, caramelized onion, and Sriracha mayo on a brioche bun — and it was a solid 10/10. I had home fries on the side, which were also great.
Overall, it was a really good experience. I definitely recommend DK Diner in Dublin, Ohio, and I will absolutely be back again. -

★ 3Cute local diner. Very quick service. Self service drinks. Had the French toast. It was quite disappointing. 2 small pieces of toast cut in half. Came with bacon but I was still starving afterwards. Toast itself was nothing special. Donut sandy was a better choice for my partner.

★ 5What a cute little diner. Tucked away in the neighborhood with not much parking , it's still worth checking out. You get complimentary, serve yourself coffee and donuts while waiting . There's a wide variety of things to make your coffee exactly how you love it. The menu is small but filled with yummy favorites. Prices are comparable to most places now, fairly cheap I'd even say. Everything was delicious and served pretty quickly. The service was great and we will definitely be back
