★ 1I placed my order at 5:45 pm, and the app said it would be ready for pickup by 6:05 at the latest. When I arrived, it was extremely busy and my order was NOT ready, even though the app said it was ready and I could come pick it up.
Okay, it’s Christmas, I get it.
I waited about 10 minutes and then asked when my order would actually be ready. The server told me it would be about 30 more minutes. Fine — but why say in the app that the order is ready? I could’ve come later if the time was communicated honestly.
After waiting those 30 minutes, I checked again — still not ready. The server said my order was “third in line” and would be started soon, but then added that if it wasn’t made within 5 minutes, my order would be automatically canceled and they wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.
Excuse me… what? So if I hadn’t come up and asked, my order would’ve just been canceled while I was sitting there waiting?
She then said she could manually reprint my ticket and send it to the kitchen, but it would go to the back of the line because they prioritize dine-in customers over pickup orders. Is this a joke? I paid the same full price — I just wanted to take my food home and eat it in bed. Why should pickup customers wait longer than everyone else? That feels unfair and ridiculous.
Eventually, after I complained, she asked the kitchen to make my order. I finally got it and left.
When I got home, I realized my sides were wrong — instead of mac and cheese and fries, I got broccoli I didn’t order. The meat was also completely overcooked and smelled like old burnt oil. It was awful.
I waited an entire hour for this order, sitting on a bench by the entrance in my jacket.
Terrible experience. The worst $30 I’ve ever spent. I honestly would’ve been better off eating chips for dinner. -

★ 1I am writing to address an ongoing issue I’ve experienced over the past two months at this place. Every time I have come in, I have been assigned the same server, Lynn, and the service has consistently been disappointing.
From the moment she approaches the table, her attitude makes it clear she does not want to be there. She regularly appears irritated, disengaged, and inconvenienced by doing her job. It creates an uncomfortable environment and makes guests feel like a burden rather than paying customers.
What has been even more frustrating are the repeated cigarette breaks. On multiple occasions, I have needed refills or assistance and have been left waiting and ignored while she has gone outside to smoke cigarettes in clear view from the windows. These breaks last 5–10 minutes at a time, and I have personally seen her go out several times within the same hour.
I have also overheard her openly complaining about her tips and showing visible frustration toward other staff members. That kind of behavior reflects poorly on the entire restaurant and negatively affects the overall atmosphere.
Because of these repeated issues, I changed the times I would visit in an attempt to avoid being served by her. Eventually, I stopped coming in altogether. No customer should feel the need to schedule around one employee just to have a decent experience. -

★ 5Woke up today to a $10 off promo from Denny’s—decided to use it, and I’m so glad I did. This place is simply amazing. The food was delicious, and the service was top tier. Christina, our server, had a beautiful smile and such a positive attitude—she made the whole experience feel special. The energy in the place was so warm and welcoming, like being at home. Robert, the manager, walked around with a big smile, making sure everyone felt comfortable—he truly set the tone for a great atmosphere. Fast service, good vibes, and amazing food—can’t beat that.
