★ 5I visit the area quite often and drive by, but stop until today. The diner was filled with regulars when I walked in and was served by Karl's wife. Eventually Karl came out from the back and started making my food. We had a great conversation while he made my food and while I dined. I had the Polish Omelette which was fantastic.
This place is a relic of a bygone era. It's the classic New England diner experience. I felt like a regular even though it was my first visit. Will definitely be back for the Friday night dinner. Even if you're on a road trip or in the area, definitely stop here for breakfast. It's only a short drive from the Pike.
Just a heads up it's cash only and there's no ATM on site. The Cumby's down the street has an ATM inside. -

★ 5It doesn't get more U.S.A. Americana than this authentic railroad car diner. It is more than just a good place to eat... it's a good place to hang out & chat. This is a traditional spot for locals, so be sure to bring cash and a positive attitude. Breakfast ranges from $6 to $15nFriday night dinners are excellent and range $10 to $30.
