★ 5Daddy-O's is a cool 50s-style diner with the walls all decked out with old (and antique) license plates and memorabilia.
It's in the Oxford plaza on Main Street. So... plenty of parking. However, hours are limited, so check before you go.
The ladies bathroom had Audrey Hepburn images and quotes on the walls. And the staff and atmosphere was super friendly.
The hubs and I stopped here for lunch after a medical appointment before heading home.
He had the reuben and I got the special: chicken enchilada (which I didn't see on the printed menu, so maybe this was something they were testing first).
We also ordered the fried mushrooms appetizer...so good and served with a generous side of ranch for dipping.
The enchilada was large and filled with chunks (not shreds) of chicken, corn, black beans, fresh diced tomatoes, and fresh sliced...yes, sliced... avocado. The fresh ingredients made a big difference in flavor.
We will be back again. And I definitely recommend checking them out. -

★ 5We both ordered the fried fish and, It was cooked to perfection with a crispy coating and juicy interior. The french fries are house made every morning, the tartar sauce had just the right amount of zip and the coleslaw was nice and crunchy.
As an added gift to the community, they have a small food pantry where people can take or leave non-perishable items as they choosenThey had an impressive array of eggs, benedict options as well as corned beef hash that they make in house. The prices can't be beat and the service is always friendly.
While you wait for your food, which won't take long to arrive, you can entertain yourself by looking at some of the hundreds of license plates that line their walls. It's clear that some states have stricter censors than others, and many of them made me chuckle. -

★ 5While you might call this a greasy spoon, that would be disingenuous. This restaurant has a take-it-or-leave-it food pantry in the front. I've never seen a restaurant for this before & I LOVE THIS! This reason alone is why you need to patronize this diner.
The license plates from all over the world are a fantastic touch. I love it.
I got the Mediterranean omelet & diet Coke. That totaled $16. The omelet was delicious. The only critique this Mediterranean descendant can make is that the omelet needed Greek olives, not standard olives.
The meal was good. The prices are so affordable that I could leave a better tip than I can when I pay with cash. Well done! -

★ 5I went here for breakfast and got the breakfast club and since it was my birthday I got a spiked iced coffee. It was absolutely amazing and the service was wonderful! Definitely recommended trying this place out!

★ 4Always a decent meal here. Staff is friendly. Wish the food came out a little hotter is my only complaint.
