★ 5Country House Restaurant in Naples, Florida is one of those places that feels like home the second you walk in—and for our family, it basically is. Formerly known as The Lazy Rooster, this spot has been a family favorite for 25+ years, and the rebrand hasn’t changed what matters most: great food, huge portions, and genuinely good people.
I had the Southern Chicken Biscuit Sandwich, and wow. Imagine the best parts of a chicken biscuit and biscuits and gravy deciding to team up. Comfort food perfection. My wife went with the Chef Salad, which was fresh, loaded, and honestly could’ve fed the entire table by itself. The kids both got burgers—one with fries, one with onion rings—and they crushed them (always the ultimate quality test).
The food quality was excellent, and the portions are no joke. These are “consider splitting a meal” portions. I couldn’t finish my plate, and that salad could’ve supported a small village.
It was easy to get in, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the cherry on top? The owner was the one waiting our table. That kind of personal touch is rare and says everything you need to know about this place.
Country House Restaurant is classic, reliable, and still delivering after decades. If you’re in Naples and want a hearty brunch with zero pretense and all the heart, this is the spot ❤️ -

★ 5Shannon was the best server ever and the food was phenomenal. She was welcoming and always checked on me when I needed anything at the table. I would definitely come back again and refer any of my friends and family members. Thank you again Shannon. Happy Holidays!!!

★ 4They a home atmosphere, make their own orange juice, nice mom and pop place, have outdoor seating options, huge cinnamon rolls that many people ordered, variety of food choices, prices were typical for Naples FL dinners. I would eat here again.

★ 5It is a small little breakfast and lunch restaurant. I am not one that goes for the up and the up. Look, just simple, basic diner. It's perfect for breakfast for me and their breakfast is off the chain perfect. I recommend getting the freshly squeezed orange juice and any omelette of your choice. It's enough for two peoplenLunch was not bad either, but to be honest with you, breakfast was better
