  Tasty! Lots of original items and old favorites. Quick service, easy to get to. Excellent corned beef hash & eggs for me, breakfast sandwich for Hubbs.

  We were in town to visit family and stopped here for breakfast. We were a party of five and they got us right in. The service was fast but efficient. It was St. Patrick's day and they had a corned beef special which my husband was very happy about. Our sides of bacon were not as crispy as we would have liked. The bacon in my omelet was crispy and there was so much bacon in my omelet I couldn't eat it all. This place was great and we would definitely go back when we are in town again.

  Such a great place. We enjoyed all the signage around the restaurant.The waitstaff was very attentive. The food was great. The only part I think that could use a little extra is to explain to people how the payment works at the end of the meal. Esp if your new.

  The Country Diner in Enfield, CT is everything you want in a classic hometown diner. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular—even on your first visit. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience.
  The food is consistently excellent: generous portions, comforting flavors, and that made-from-scratch taste that’s getting harder to find these days. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast or a casual lunch, everything comes out hot, fresh, and exactly the way you’d hope. It’s the kind of place where you leave full and already thinking about what you’ll order next time.
  Clean, cozy, affordable, and reliable, the Country Diner is a true Enfield gem. If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe, this place absolutely deserves five stars. Highly recommended!

  Glad we stopped here for a hearty breakfast before heading back home from vacation. We got there early and were able to walk right in, no wait, but when we were leaving there were a whole bunch of people waiting to be seated. Service was efficient and good. I thought the food was great overall, their bacon is thick cut and more chewy than crispy so that was the only thing I didn’t love. The pancakes, especially the chocolate chip ones were amazing!! I had over easy eggs with hash browns, bacon and toast. My kids’ had 2 pancakes each but only ate one. I finished my kid’s chocolate chip pancake which I would totally get next time, I’m usually a savory rather than a sweet breakfast person but it was really good! Would stop here again if passing through town! Very reasonable prices, great value!
