  Well, we know this place since a while ago, probably 4 years. Today we stopped for a breakfast and took some minutes to review this small business.
  
  When arrived, you feel the American traditional dinning place, it small like bread, bother and fried things, lol.
  
  I ordered a breakfast sandwich and ask for the lady on the check for a suggestion on the bread, I couldn't go wrong with this.
  
  My sandwich was a egg sausage breakfast in a everything bagel. It was amazing good!
  
  I definitely recommend this place 100%, it is pretty affortable too, pay less than 10 bucks for my breakfast! I do love it! And will come back.

  City Jake’s is the best breakfast in the city by a landslide. Great atmosphere, warm service, and you feel it in the food. Love. Highly recommended. Awesome people!
  
  Cash only in person if not, order online as a heads up. But again, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

  Family, guy next door atmosphere. You feel like you’ve known Jake, the owner and grill man, your whole life. Excellent food made to order. Excellent and friendly service. Very human experience in a world full of corporate chain disasters. CASH ONLY or you can order online with a card. A little expensive, but you’re paying for quality and supporting small and local business.

  Don’t sleep on this spot! I was visiting in town and wanting some brunch. I stumbled upon it with a friend, very friendly customer service, and really great delicious food! Felt like good home cooking. I’ll be going again next time I’m in town.

  My wife and I were in Springfield and saw the positive reviews on the restaurant, so we gave it a shot. It was really good. Both of had the breakfast sandwiches on English muffins w/ side of potatoes. We are definitely coming back here.
