  This place is really good. It's just downstairs from our Airbnb. The waitress Jocelyn was our server, very sweet. Food was great. Cleared my plate!! The #1 Seafood Platter was good. And the music is phenomenal. The second day, ordered the fried seafood platter, cleared that plate too!

  It's a solid spot to try the local food. Not to be missed: crawfish cooked to perfection, jambalaya and the Gumbo. Very friendly service and good beignets as well.

  We went to Chapin’s twice during our stay in NOLA and got good value for our dollar both times. The food is solid and well prepared- nothing extra special but fresh and tasty. The happy hour oyster special is a great deal. Strong drinks, and an incredible deal on the early bird breakfast special. Not much in the way of atmosphere, but for the price you can’t have everything

  Had the greatest experience! Everyone was super great. My brother said “you’re literally the best waitress I’ve ever had” to our waitress, Layla. The food was delicious. We had the crawfish boil, charbroiled oysters, and red beans and rice. Most attentive service all around and a place that should be on your list if going to a game. (They have TVs as well!!)

  Convenience was the big factor after a 579 mile trip. This place was right by our hotel. Went in at 4 pm and the place was pretty much empty. Happy hour special was half dozen oysters for 5.99 and 2 for 1 bottled beer. We both ordered shrimp po boys with fries. From entry time to departure was about an hour so not bad. Server was attentive and cleared away the table on a consistent basis. I would be concerned if the place was packed based on staffing I'm sure you would have a considerable wait. No complaints here and I would come back.
