All 5 stars for me. Found about the spot on Google and an awesome find it was. Upon arrival, it didn't seem like a restaurant from the road, and makes sense after you go inside. It maintains the original structure of an house , as well an inside where each room of the house is used for space - coffee station, wait area , pastry prep , and dining rooms. These are uniquely decorated with French decor in mind. Very cozy but wonderful Frech charm.. after waiting for about 35 mins for our table , we lucked out with cut seat for 2 by the window facing the street , we had a window sill for extra room .
This is hands down some of the best and rich tasting latte I've ever had. The oj and lemonade was also freshly squeezed.
The breakfast was amazing..different culinary crafts paired with eggs and I enjoyed the difference. Super deliciousness in every bite. The host and wait staff was very pleasant, definitely courteous.
Let me add that there seems to always be a wait, but its well worth it . Its pleasant outside when its nice out. I csn only imagine a warm spring day or summer for outdoor eating. Must be nice! There's adequate parking.
Definitely a place to try and if I lived in the area, I'd go back from time to time.

Second visit here with my lady, and somehow we ended up sitting in the same spot as our first visit. The food was just as delicious as we remembered: fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Again, the tea was perfect - smooth, perfectly steeped, and completed the meal.

It is an awesome place to unwind after a morning hike, as it has a calm and inviting atmosphere. You will find the staff to be very courteous without being intrusive. It’s got that small-town comfort with outstanding food. Definitely one of those spots that gets better every time you go.

What a fantastic gem of a restaurant.
The cute decor and homey feel was perfect. We arrived on a Saturday at 10:30am and it was packed, yet we only waited 7 min.
    The waiter was very personable.
The Chocolate Chaud tastes like a melted fudge bar.
We had the potato leek soup, le burger with pork belly, crepes(arrived cold) and berries and duck potatoes(omg melt in your mouth).
I LOVE duck and it is very hard to find. Everything was phenomenal.
    So why only 4 stars?
My one complaint. I got crepes and added strawberries. I expected to pay the $2. for berries. But they charged me an extra $1.85 for syrup! Not real Vermont syrup, but bottled syrup. There was maybe 2 tablespoons of syrup in the small metal container I was given.
I'm a chef at a breakfast restaurant. Syrup is a condiment. They don't charge for ketchup, so why syrup? And almost $2?! I could see if it was real syrup as an upgrade or something. I don't mind paying the high prices for the food as the quality was amazing. Worth it for the $27 burger! The soup? Some of the best potato leek we've ever had. But the nickel and diming just left us a bit disappointed after paying $6 for 6oz of OJ.

    Shockingly good.
I had poached eggs on sweet potato mash with homemade grave lox and a cappuccino. My spouse had a double-decker french toast with cream cheese in between and the most delicious hot chocolate we had in a decade. The homemade lox was a dream; I think the best I had in my life - and I am from NYC, a place that prides itself for its lox.
The hot chocolate was almost too rich/thick, but perfectly balanced in its mild sweetness.
Who would have thought to find a place like this in Northborough!

Our first visit, our daughter loves it here and brought us for a birthday brunch.
We arrived around 10:15 and had a table for 3 in 10-15 min. even though they estimated a 30 min wait so that was great.
The food was great, made my own omelette. Except their bacon is pork belly, which I’mnIt a fan but my husband got it and said it was good. I got the sausage patties, they were delicious! Their home potatoes are red with grilled veggies, perfect.
My only minuses were no milk alternatives, and the food was like warm when arrived.
The place was busy and the service was good. Can get loud and a few bumps to your chair but didn’t really matter, it’s a lovely place. The bakery and coffee scents add to the ambiance. Recommend and we’ll be back when visiting the area.
