I've been wanting to go here since it changed hands and seeing photos of their food online for a while. Finally got to visit with a friend last evening. Had the steamers; absolutely delicious. Not a grain of sand. Moved on to the clam cakes. They were small, crispy, not heavy nor greasy. Best I've had in a very, very long time. Then we shared an order of stuffies. They were filled with clams, had a delicious flavor. While they were more moist than the usual stuffies that I've had in the past, they were delicious. My friend had a bloody Mary and I had a glass of wine. Prices were very reasonable. I will be back to try more of their dishes. And to see Max!

Great spot for lunch! Highly recommend the Boom Boom Fries and the Meatball Grinder, so good and the sweetest staff! You'll enjoy it and don't forget to hi to the chef 😊

    If I could leave a -30 stars I would!!

Went for breakfast. Ordered a smoothie. They didn’t have them. Ok fine. My son ordered a Açaí bowl. It came out completely frozen so we sent it back and didn’t want anything else. The waitress went to tell the “chef” and he berated the waitress loudly right infront of everyone. And this was after I say him talk nasty to another waitress.

And to top it off, when we got the bill the Açaí bowl was not removed. The waitress was scared so she insisted on paying for the Açaí bowl instead of taking off the bill. Awful. We paid for what we ate and tipped her 20%.

That cook is a bully and completely irrational. I feel bad that these waitresses have to work there. I hope they go work someplace else.

    Do not recommend! Don’t go!

Our Monday night dinner crew decided to try Carmine’s tonight. We heard it was really good, so we made a reservation.
If you haven’t been, please go! Dave, the owner, is a sweetheart. He was warm, attentive, and made sure we got excellent service.
We started with sausage and cannelini bruschetta. Excellent! We also had calamari. Also excellent!
I had a special - lobster ravioli with shrimp in a pink vodka sauce. Absolutely delicious!! And there were actually pieces of lobster in the ravioli!!
I tried my husband’s lasagna, which is made with a bolognese base. I hate to keep saying “absolutely delicious”, but it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!
The chicken parm and bolognese some in our groupnordered loved them.
Not one of us had a complaint. It was amazing!!
Then cannoli and fried Oreos (O….M….G!!!) were - you guessed it - absolutely delicious!!!
Please - GO!! I promise you will not be disappointed! Dave, I hope you reach the stars with your place. You so deserve it! You work so hard to make your place truly special, and it is so clear!!!

Finally made it to Carmine's in North Providence, have been reading a lot of post about them on Facebook. The steak and cheese was raved about so I had to give it a try, it was lunch time and it wasn't busy. The Steak and cheese was delicious and it also came with french fries which I wasn't expecting. I took a look at the menu when I was waiting and will have to come back again.
