★ 5What a fantastic experience. Super awesome staff, beautiful location and the breakfast was great! Got the simple breakfast sandwich w a slight change. Swapping out the English Muffins for New England brown bread!! Totally a game changer and delicious.
Staff could also suggest and accommodate a food allergy w one member in our group.
We all had a wonderful meal. Thank you! -

★ 5It was wonderful to see Captain Cass renovated and reopened!
The service was fantastic as was the food. The portions were amazing for the price and the overall atmosphere was terrific.
You can tell a lot of attention was paid to the redecorating with the painted weathered look of the furniture and everything.
I had the Fried Clam Strips for lunch, then went back for dinner later in the week and had the Cap't Cass Seafood Platter, both were delicious! My wife loved the She Crab Stew.
Will definitely be making this a must visit on our yearly trip to the Cape! -

★ 5Live 0.5 miles from this place and it is great to see it finally open back up. Had the classic indoor restaurant, but a new outdoor window to order and pick kup with plenty of seating. Authentic lobster shack exterior with seashell pavement, plenty of seats, and nautical decoration. Dog friendly with water and treats. Food was great, though I would like to explore more of the menu before I bump the food up to the full five stars. Overall, a great experience and restaurant I will definitely be returning to, with a beautiful view of Rock Harbor.

★ 5We were the first customers of the newly reopened captain cass. We’ve been going for years and it was our favorite lobster roll on cape cod. The new owner spent a lot of money updating the place, and while it lost the 1950’s divey charm, it looks great and feels clean and new while still very cape cod. The scallops were really moist and fresh and the lobster roll was a good size and also super fresh. The fries are very similar to what they used to be, battered style. Only minor gripe is to have a buttered/toaster roll for the lobster roll but otherwise the prices were fair and portions good. Very happy they are back with new owners investing in a cape classic. They added a new takeout window and outdoor seating overlooking the marsh (bring bug spray and beware the flies when no wind)

★ 1We have come to Captain Cass’s for years and loved the old nostalgic place! Couldn’t wait to come back, but we’re sadly disappointed! The remodeling was great, similar to the old place, bathrooms roomy and clean. The one server for the whole place, randomly decided to wait on a customer that came in after us, his soup came out immediately and we sat and waited for ours. The clam strip platter was pretty generous, covering a pile of fries! But the clams were barely warm, fries were somewhat warmer! Obviously they seemed to have been sitting under a light, not fresh out of the fryer!
Not ones to ever complain about food, we said the clams weren’t warm! Apologies made and plate taken back to the kitchen to just dump into the fryer again to make the clams hot and tough! We have 2 chefs in our family and tend to have a high standard for food and know that some kitchens aim to please and others don’t care! Also their Prices seem to be somewhat higher than other places on the Cape for the amount of food you get. Will probably give them another try!
