  We had an amazing experience here! Our waiter was truly exceptional—friendly, patient, and incredibly attentive, even with our giant group. The entire diner staff was welcoming and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge. The macaroni salad was especially tasty, the burgers were excellent, the chicken fingers were a hit, and the chocolate milkshake was rich and satisfying. We also loved the spinach pie—everything we tried was fantastic. Highly recommend this diner for great food, generous portions, and outstanding service!

  I want to give this place a better rating, but for simple reasons, I can't. We had a party of 9 people and 3 of us had minor issues with our order. The service took a little longer than I expected, but in all fairness it was a Saturday. And the ambience of the place could use a little update.

  My first time visiting The California Diner was last week for a get together. The experience was great. Everyone ordered something different and it all looked amazing. I had the Challah French Toast and bacon. The dish was cooked to perfection. Most importantly, was the service. Felipe was welcoming and accommodating. A true professional. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an old school diner experience. Conveniently located on Sunrise Highway. Give it a try.

  They feed you before they feed you, that's hard to beat and it's a classy joint too. They even take special requests on doordash which is rare, most spots don't have that enabled. High quality food at a reasonable price.

  It was an amazing stop on the way home from an exciting day. Traditional diner with all the amazing flavors you could want. Super friendly staff are always happy to greet you and help you figure out what you want. Even when they are super busy, you will be seated quickly . We stopped and went with a Greek diner, and at the end of the day, we had way too much food to eat in one sitting. You always get a great amount of food and will be satisfied.
