★ 5My first experience at Cafe Mangal was incredibly memorable. From the moment I walked in, the staff was so warm, welcoming, and generous that I immediately felt taken care of. Chef Mehmet made us feel at home. That kind of hospitality really sets the tone, and the food more than lived up to it. We had the lentil soup, the Mediterranean salad, the Turkish yogurt dip, the 6 Hour Braised Colorado Lamb Shanks, and the Turkish baklava, and every single dish was amazing. Everything felt thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was one of those meals where you can feel the care behind both the food and the experience, and I left already knowing I’d be back. The ambiance is so sweet and family oriented it honestly felt like being in a movie or being transported to Europe. They also have a BYOB option so we brought our own bottle and indulged in an absolutely lovely time spent here. Highly recommend.

★ 3Although the atmosphere and the service was fantastic the food we didn’t have the same experience. The hummus was good, but honestly nothing special for 15bucks. The lamb was pretty well cooked!! Was leaving the bone so easily and surprised me positively but the rest of my plate had no seasoning, the carrots and potatoes were just there. The rice was ok too. The killer was my wife’s salad, looked like a college survival meal when you just dump a tuna can on top leaves. Overall was really not our style with Turkish food and we had plenty. Maybe we just got unlucky with choices but I am not willing to try again for 100$. Sorry if the staff is reading this, I am sure they are good people, was pretty cool seeing the walls with all the travel they do.

★ 5A cute little find in an area full of small mom and pop shops. This is a small Turkish cafe that has plenty of seating, diverse menu, and great service! We got a couple of salads which were a little on the expensive side but had a very generous portion size. The restaurant was also beautiful and uniquely decorated. Would love to come back and bring my family here!

★ 5I had a delicious dinner at Cafe Mangal. The place is very inviting and warm. You’re greeted with walls full of family pictures and art depicting Turkey. The owner/executive chef Mehmet personally invited cooked the Lamb Shank, and it tasted amazing. The lamb was soft and succulent. The Turkish rice soaked in the lamb au jus was one of the best tasting things I’ve had recently. After dinner, the owner personally walked me to the door, ending a great dinner and lesson in hospitality.
