  I stopped in randomly and was very impressed with my sandwich / panini. And the iced coffee with a scoop of ice cream was a great addition as well (and it appears that the ice was made with coffee which is an awesome touch!) So delicious! Friendly employees too :) can't wait to go back.

  Cute shop with fantastic ice cream flavors, plus sandwiches, soups, and extra friendly employees! I’ve marked this one on my map for my next trip through Vermont, it’s sure to be regular stop from now on!

  What a great find! Never heard of this place before, but love their slogan, Vermont’s other ice cream! After being a Ben & Jerry’s fan for years, Island was actually better. We had 4 flavors one better than the next. The real standout was the mint n cookies, phenomenal! Awesome young friendly staff too, they really aim to please and encourage you to try many samples. Will definitely be back on my next trip to the Burlington area.

  Prices are super fair. Ice cream is pretty delicious although I don’t like their use of red dye, etc. in some of their ingredients. The food they offer outside of ice cream is okay-ish. The customer service is phenomenal. Honestly outside the good hard ice cream probably one of the best things about going there - the people that work there are always helpful, kind and so friendly. It’s really refreshing! 🍨

  Delicious (lunch and breakfast) sandwiches, soup and ice cream! I had no idea there was a little cafè hidden inside. Hopefully they will post a bigger sign outside so more people will know what a cute cafè is tucked away inside this delicious ice cream shop.
