Charming little spot. The coffee and baklava are both incredible, and the staff are kind. It's small inside, but that just gives it a cozy neighborhood cafe atmosphere.

The place was very nice and mellow. Soft music with cute tables and lots of different cake slices offered with varied pastries as well. I got a hot chocolate and it was very good and foamy. The employee was very nice.

The nice girl working today was very kind and helpful. What a nice place to be open so late until 3 am in downtown Chicago! Thank you bc I know it’s tiring to work so late. But it helps people who don’t have time or energy to cook or need something after hanging out late. They participate in delivery apps so you can have something to eat late late night. There’s no real street parking here but you can briefly stand right in front while watching out for meter staff. Cake is $45 for the whole cake and they have Greek pastries like baklava and galaktoboureko which is a custard w filo dough and honey. It’s nice and bright and clean here.

I was in the area and took a gamble. The caramel cake was just okay. It was too dry. I would skip it. There are better places to get really good caramel cake. Especially for the price.

Okay who cares if a place is small and not amazingly decorated or whatever, if it’s good it’s good. The only reason I’m even giving two stars is because the brownie I tried was pretty wonderful, nice and chewy with big chunks of chocolate. But the tiramisu was SO BAD I spat it out after one bite. My friend thought I was being dramatic but she ended up doing the same. The texture was so weird, there was a THICK powder layer on top that tasted like it maybe had cinnamon?? Not supposed to be there? And the carrot cake was moist, but very flat and the icing tasted like flour. If everything was as good as that brownie the place would be fabulous but I can’t recommend. Also, it was freaking $20 for a brownie, a very small super gross slice of tiramisu, and a small/medium slice of carrot cake. Crazy.
