So before you read the rest of this, dinner was five stars and breakfast was one.

Start with dinner, we decided to come here as we were staying in the hotel. My wife ordered the Tuscan chicken and I had the steak tips. Both of our meals were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The steak tips were tender and marinated to perfection. The roasted potatoes stole the show on the plate but the staff stole the night. They were responsive and amazing, they even washed our babies spoon after she ate her baby food! These little things made us go we have to come back tomorrow morning for breakfast now!

Breakfast, we sat down and the initial lady that came over to take our drink order was very pleasant. The waitress that took over from there was short, dismissive, and made us feel like an inconvenience. This was exacerbated when she was pleasant and cordial to the locals sitting behind us, which is a weird demeanor to have to work in a hotel restaurant . They didn’t have either what I ordered or my wife and we ordered something just to get her away from the table and not ruin our day first thing in the morning. When both of our second choices came, my wife’s burrito’s veggies were hard and not cooked enough and my meal was flavorless and bland. We quickly left as soon as we could.

I would recommend you go see the amazing staff at night time who made our experience amazing and saved this place from a one star review, but I would caution you to avoid the breakfast staff as it took away from our overall experience of the restaurant and may make us avoid this place in the future all together in worry she may be working again.

I had a great experience at Blue Sky Lounge in Bangor, ME. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, and the service really stood out. Margo, the bartender, was excellent — friendly, attentive, and very personable. She made sure everyone was taken care of and created a great vibe at the bar. It’s always nice to go somewhere where the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome. I would definitely recommend stopping in, especially if Margo is working!

St. PATRICK'S DAY was our time to visit Blue Sky. They advertised celebrating the Irish holiday with them well, so we went. Our server was very sweet, efficient, friendly and accommodating. She was the only waitress to serve the whole restaurant area. It was not ideal for such a busy day. The menu was creative, the Irish nachos were tasty. The music wasn't traditional Irish, it was a DJ bellied up to the bar on his computer playing anything but the festive music one wants on this holiday. They advertised raffles and prizes throughout the night starting at 5pm. We stayed until 7:30 and nothing of the kind was happening. Disappointed, likely won't be back.

Been a few times and the food was always great, atmosphere not bad but I've never had good service. Waitress deliberately ignoring our party but checking on the table next to us numerous times (seems they knew eachother) when we are trying to flag her down. I even called for a to go order once and got put on hold or phone laid on counter since I could hear people all around laughing for over 10 minutes before I gave up. Needs better training or to care, which is a pity because the food is really good.

Service was slow and so was business on a mo day night. Atmosphere is bland and unappealing but thats only 1st glance as I was only there for pickup order. The food was just horrendous chicken parm with linguine not sure if the penny pinches could afford to put more than the spritz of marinara on it they did but it was probably for the best as the food tasted like the smoking side of an old casino does. I know that sound s wierd but I had to check because I thought someone may have flicked ashes in the food by the way it tasted. Thats the best I can articulate just how disgusting this food was. I'd order the Italian chicken sandwich at Burger King any day of the week and twice on a sunday before ever ordering the chicken parm or any pasta dish from this place again and thats not a positive for burger king just an indicator of how low the bar is set to to exceed blue sky lounge food. Secondly I ordered a French onion soup what I got was a cup st■ with bread sponge that absorbed what ever liquid was even in it. Key word is soup. There were no onions just a beef consume salt lick laden bread pudding. This food wouldnt pass the quality control check for inmate food let alone food they expect to be paid for. Whomever is running that kitchen needs to be either fired or taught how to cook food. Or perhapse should simply taste the slop theyre cooking before serving it. I cant advise against eating here any more strongly..if your in the hotel or the one next to it and had a ling day and just want something you dint have to drive for, take the drive weather its 10 minutes or 2 hrs away it'll be worth it to avoid this culinary train wreck.
