★ 4I feel bad giving this beautiful restaurant a 4/5. The ambiance was 10/10, drinks 10/10. I ordered a Painkiller, it was done to perfection. I also ordered crab cakes, OMG they were out of this world.
The only two things that I didn’t like was the wait for drinks and food. My daughter beef tacos, they were so dry even after dipping them in the sauce that came with em. My friend ordered BBQ pizza, she gave it 10/10. Otherwise our waitress was great! -

★ 5This place has great food & service too! The lemonade is homemade and you can get strawberry or blueberry lemonade, delicious! The poutine (not pictured) is amazing, we dug in too quickly and no photo was taken.

★ 5I picked this restaurants because they had gluten free options and I love burgers. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. Our waitress was super nice and made sure that my food was gluten free. My husband had a philly chees sandwich and I had a burger with bacon, egg and mozzarella. The gluten free bun was soft and delicious. The burger was tasty melted in my mouth like butter. Husband loved his food as well. We ordered lemonade as well, they were made with real fruit juice, the mango one was yummy. Unfortunately they don't have gluten free desserts but my husband loved his peanut butter pie. Looking forward to visit them again.

★ 5First time dining at Blaze in Bangor. We had tried the Bar Harbor location several years ago and we never compelled to go back, but decided to try the Bangor location and were so glad we did! We had a wonderful lunch. We hoped to sit outside, but it was a bit cold, so we opted for an indoor table.
We started with drinks. The pear martini was really delicious and flavorful. For kick I had the duck burger with a fried duck egg on top and duck fat fries as a side. The burger was perfectly seasoned and the best burger I've had in years. I would go back for the burger alone. My husband had the Cajun Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich and loved it. The thick chicken breast was juicy and seasoned well. And the aioli was perfect on top. My mother in law had the Farmers Pizza loaded with vegetables, pesto etc. It good-sized and she loved it, although we brought half home because it was so large. The service was good and the interior decor nice and kind of edgy.

★ 5Early on a Saturday evening (430/5ish) No reservation, but luck was on our side. We were seated inside. There is outdoor seating too, but the skies were rumbling and it did rain while we were there. It was hot on the bar side. The restaurant side was cooler but warm. I appreciated the waitstaff's friendless. They offered samples of the beers before ordering. Good selection, great beer. I chose the McNalty (stout or port?). The pizza was delicious! We had a mushroom AND a pepperoni. We also had the wings. Cooked perfectly with a dry rub and we asked for the Thai chili sauce on the side. We got a small duck fat fries. It was plenty large enough for us all to have some. 2 adults, one 12 yo.
We rarely have dessert, but their list of desserts looked so good we had to try! Bith were dedelicious. Chocolate cake and peanut butter ice cream cake on a graham.cracker crust. I doubt there are made in house..... but both were tasty!!
