★ 5We had a great breakfast here. Of course, it’s Nantucket pricing, but that’s the whole island. I got the corned beef hash and it was unlike any other I’ve had. The corned beef was sooo tender and instead of using diced potatoes, they were almost mashed potatoes. Very good. Hubby got the huevos rancheros which had a really good sauce. He added an extra pancake too. The staff was very warm and kind. Seating was crowded but we really enjoyed our morning there.

★ 5Black-Eyed Susan’s is an iconic Nantucket institution, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. The breakfast menu is outstanding, with high-quality food that makes the wait completely worth it. It can get crowded and there is usually lots of people waiting for tables, so definitely plan to go early if you can.
That said, the atmosphere is part of the charm — a warm, old-time Nantucket experience with a lively vibe that makes the place feel special. The service was fast, friendly, and welcoming despite how busy it was, which made the experience even better.
I’ve aways loved everything about it: the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly, attentive service. Overall, a must-visit spot on Nantucket and definitely worth the wait !! -

★ 5I had the most delightful breakfast experience at this cozy, bustling neighborhood gem. The atmosphere inside is incredibly welcoming and full of charm, making it feel like a true local secret. My French toast was cooked to absolute perfection, thick and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness, and the coffee was hot and constantly refilled by the super attentive staff.

★ 5Short order cooks are amazing. Great breakfast. Server a little too slow to get food to table, but I’m from Manhattan, so my expectations are high.. Best restaurant for us in Nantucket, and we ate at several others.

★ 4This is a fantastic, down-to-earth spot that is a local favorite, especially for breakfast. It has a really welcoming, no-frills vibe that makes it a great place to start your day, and they offer a creative menu for dinner as well. It’s also BYOB-friendly, which is a nice touch if you are planning an evening visit.
