Decided to stop here on a recent visit to UAB hospital’s Kirklin Clinic. The breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. Our food was delicious and the coffee was superb. I work in Oxford, so I am used to the one at home. This one is a nice size space that can accommodate a crowd. The building itself is fairly new. Check them out if you are in town. Their breakfast is hard to beat.

My eyes were clearly bigger than my stomach. I didn't expect the portions but my oh my. The service was great and the orange juice fresh squeezed. We had the chicken and waffle. I took some home with me. Oh the biscuit was very good.

Doug and I went to Big Bad Breakfast for a late breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised. The parking was easy. The wait was short. Kaytlyn was our waitress, and she was excellent. She kept the coffee coming, refilling cups and glasses. She exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Belgium waffle topped with blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream and powdered sugar. Doug ordered a loaded biscuit with egg and melted cheese and both were delicious. The restaurant was clean and open with the option of booths, table seating, or at the bar. We will definitely recommend Big Bad Breakfast in Vestavia and will be back soon!

I finally had a chance to try this new location in Vestavia Hills. It is very nice since it is brand new restaurant. Someone had mentioned in another review it was a little chilly and while it was cooler because it is a new A/C system a light jacket would suffice. I thought the temperature was fine. There is plenty of space and you can sit at the bar if you choose. There is seating outside but this is reserved for the weekend overflow and its very limited. Dogs are allowed outside though. However, if you prefer outside seating the 280 location is the better choice for you and your furry companions. It is the same menu and prices. There is plenty of parking and two entrances with one allowing you into the parking lot but not out of it the same way.

Very clean nice atmosphere. Coffee was very tasty! Food was delicious. Treasure was our server and very helpful as it was our first time at the restaurant. I ordered the yard skillet with a pancake instead of toast. Wife ordered an egg, sausage burrito.
