  For starters I was a customer who came very frequently. This was my favorite spot when I was pregnant I was at Athena’s every weekend. I ordered a classy eggs Benedict… and the coffee is horrible ! Not as strong as it used to be. And what the hell was at the bottom of my cup? I was very disappointed. Looks like my time with Athena’s came to an end .

  My wife and I enjoyed breakfast this morning at Athena’s. Servings were generous and the food was very good.
  I had Two Eggs with Ham Off The Bone, w Italian Bread and Hash Browns. I was served two large pieces of Ham (I would call it Virginia Ham as opposed to say Country Ham). I took over half of the Ham home. There was an extra charge for the Hash Browns.
  
  My wife had Two Eggs with Bacon. She got Cinnamon Raisin Bread and Home Fries (the default for breakfast meals).
  
  The coffee was good, but a little pricey (based on what it is not compared to what a coffee shop would have charged.)nnThe waitress was friendly and very efficient.

  We are traveling and landed here for breakfast from Illinois! The potatoes caught our eye on the reviews. They did not disappoint! The food portions are so big and the prices are very reasonable! The atmosphere was very nice and the waitress was awesome! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

  Waitress was amazing. We ordered a veggie omelet, sausage and 3 plain pancakes. Omelet came out and his sausage. We had to wait, over 10 minutes for pancakes? And I heard the waitress keep asking the kitchen about them, saw kitchen staff goofing off while waiting for his pancakes, then they were slammed down on the counter! Will never go back, mainly for that reason. Food was just ok for the prices. Good luck with that kitchen staff!!!

  Delish, Delish, Delish!!!!!!!! Truly a wonderful experience. The staff is kind and friendly, they are authentic and genuinely seem to care about each customer. But the food is the star…….The portions are huge so be prepared to get a to-go-box, you’re not going to want to leave even a crumb behind. The eggs are fluffy and the veggies are fresh, the pancakes are as large as the plate (lol) but they are so flavorful. Do yourself a favor, Stop reading reviews now and go there. It’ll be the best $$ you’ll spend…..
