  My wife and I visited Another Broken Egg Cafe on Valentine's Day, and overall, it was a solid brunch experience with some standout highlights.
  
  My wife ordered the chicken and waffles, which unfortunately fell a bit flat. While the chicken was tender and the waffle itself had a good texture, the dish lacked flavor. Without the homemade syrup, it wouldn’t have been worth ordering. The textures of the chicken and waffle didn’t quite complement each other the way you’d hope, and the dish overall needed a bit more to bring it to life.
  
  On the other hand, my smoked salmon Benedict was phenomenal — possibly one of the best breakfast style bagels I’ve ever had. The smoked salmon was thinly sliced and perfectly balanced with the capers, sauce, and onions, topped with a soft-boiled egg that tied everything together beautifully. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying.
  
  We also shared a pitcher of Bloody Mary and it was exceptional. The sneaky star was the homemade pepper sauce available at the table. It has an incredible blend reminiscent of barbecue, pepper, and Frank’s RedHot. It elevated everything. I added it to my Bloody Mary and even drizzled some over my bagel, and it just went well with all. It’s an absolute must try.
  
  The restaurant itself has an open layout with simple décor, nothing flashy, but comfortable. Be prepared: this place is busy. I highly recommend calling ahead or making reservations.
  
  Despite the mixed review on one entrée, we would definitely return to try more items on the menu. When they hit, they really hit.

  Was visiting Columbus for a wedding and friends took us to brunch here. Really enjoy our food here. Darrick was our server and shows us midwest hospitality. Gave us good recommendations on the foods! Would like to visit again

  Absolutely amazing brunch experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully set up—perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right without being overwhelming.
  
  The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can really tell they care about quality and detail. The portions were generous, and everything came out quickly and hot.
  
  This place is a true gem for brunch lovers. Whether you're going with friends, family, or just treating yourself, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch brunch spot!n⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  A decent breakfast place with good service and it was a plus for us that they do not cater to young kids. The menu is diverse and unique, but my muffin was burnt and should have never been plated. On the positive side, the fruit side had fresh berries and there were some healthy options on the menu including an egg white omelette.

  This is my second time having Darrick as my server, and at this point I’m convinced he’s part server, part mind reader, part brunch superhero. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel genuinely welcome — like we were regulars even though we’re still working our way through the menu.
  
  His recommendations? Spot on. Not the “I guess this is popular” kind — but the honest, accurate, “trust me, you’ll thank me later” kind. And yes, we thanked him later.
  
  The service was smooth, the vibes were great, and Darrick made sure we had everything we needed before we even realized we needed it. If Another Broken Egg ever gives out awards, Darrick deserves his own category.
  
  If he’s working when you go… just know your brunch is about to be elite. 🥞✨
