  Had such a wonderful experience at Another Broken Egg! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and came out perfectly. What really made the visit stand out though was Selena. She was incredible and somehow managed to be the hostess, bartender, and our waitress all at once, and still gave us the best service. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed the entire time.
  
  The manager was also very kind and took the time to check on us, which made the whole experience feel even more personal. You can tell this place really cares about their customers. Great atmosphere, great people, and amazing food. We’ll definitely be back.

  I stopped by Another Broken Egg Café and tried the chicken omelette, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive. The price was also surprisingly decent for the quality you get. Overall, a wonderful breakfast spot that made my morning highly recommend!

  2nd visit....seems preparing the food takes awhile both visits here but well worth it. This time I went with the Apple Cider Pancakes....very good. The whole table loved their food even the gluten free pancakes shown were good.

  Visited Sunday, February 22, 2025; Around 1pnnWe were sat pretty quickly, which I was surprised because we usually have about an hour or so wait. It wasn't busy.
  
  We have come to this location many, many times over the years. It was one of our favorite brunch spots. Unfortunately, this was not a great day.
  
  Service: I don't remember our server's name. She was really sweet. She was not very attentive though and the service was extremely slow. I won't put the blame on her for the kitchen and the bar.
  
  Food: It was pretty disappointing. We ordered drinks and my mimosa and my husband's coffee took about 20 minutes to come out. We also ordered beignets and they took about 30 minutes to come out. They were good. Nice and hot. Our food took about 40 minutes, maybe longer.
  
  I ordered Lemon Blueberry and goat cheese pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage and potatoes. I wanted a side of grits, but they were out. Which was odd. I would think that grits would be something easy to keep on hand, but maybe not. Let me say my food was cold, so I did not eat it. And after we had to wait so long for our food, I was just ready to go home. The sausage was very good. I need to talk about the pancakes. A real disappointment. Served cold, it was not very pleasing to the eye. It was a stack of 3 pancakes with about 5 blueberries on top and 3 in between each pancake. There was diced goat cheese sprinkled on and around the pancake and lemon zest. There was absolutely no lemon, blueberry or goat cheese in the pancakes. Again, the pancakes as well as the eggs, were served cold.
  
  My daughter had the french toast pancakes and asked for extra cream cheese icing and after taking a while to get the syrup and butter, our server said someone in the kitchen was looking for the cream cheese, so we said to just not worry about it because everything already took too long. My daughter also asked for toast for eggs that she never received.
  I did notify our server that our food was cold and she chuckled and said the food was cold and kept walking. Not in a rude way or anything, but more like it wasn't a big deal.
  
  To Go: Me and my husband both wanted gumbo to go. Because our food took extremely long to come out, we went ahead and ordered our gumbo as soon as it did come. She brought out our check and asked if we wanted the check now or wait for the gumbo, which the gumbo was already taking long, so we asked for the check beforehand. What we ordered were two bowls of gumbo. What we received was two rectangular to go containers with the gumbo just plopped in there. It looked like what I feel a side/cup of gumbo would be spread out in a container. There was more rice than gumbo which says a lot because there was hardly anything inside. (The pictures of the gumbo were made to go. We didn't even eat any before the pictures. That's how small the serving was).
  
  Although disappointed, I won't say we won't come back because this is honestly the first bad experience we had there, but it will be a very long time before we return.

  Celina was so sweet and took care of our party! She made sure we were all happy, with full drinks and fed! The general manager stopped by to make sure everything was great as well. Attentive staff, no wait, and amazing food! Can’t wait to come back and have Celina serve us again!
