Oh my GOSH! Amazing food! Breakfast is my fav and this was the best breakfast I had in a long time that I didn't make for myself. They have great specials and we tried a little bit of everything today. It was all fantastic! The new owners are doing a great job!

*Update several visits later*nStill amazing. Have not had a bad experience yet. Thank you 😊

    Food is usually exceptional!
Morning staff is great, evening staff is young and learning. Atmosphere is loud and open!! If you want to eat on display and hear everyone's conversation this is your place.
Under new management and I've witnessed some unprofessional behavior towards staff. Hopefully this will be corrected. I go here to eat not engage in employee relations!

Took them a good minute to acknowledge us. The waiter we had did not write anything do and had to come back and ask what we ordered again. The food was terrible. My grandson ordered the biscuits and gravy and would not eat it. It literally looked and tasted like a pile of moistened flour on his plate. The biscuit was so tough you couldn't even cut it with a knife. The banana bread french toast was not very good either. Tasted like pumpkin/banana bread. Could not finish even 1 piece. I ordered bacon extra crispy, and I have no idea how they managed to have each peice of bacon over and undercooked at the same time. One end was burnt and the other end was so undercooked you would be afraid to get sick by it. Very Curious! My hubby ordered Sue's mess and it was burnt as well. We will NOT be returning to this establishment.

We were pleasantly surprised! We stopped in for breakfast. The French toast was amazing!! This was a hearty breakfast and worth the stop in. It was slightly busy but the server kept up. We purchased cookies to go amd they were delicious as well. Definitely give them a try!

We've been looking for a good breakfast place near our weekend get away place at the lake. We've tried several places around Hastings and Delton. We haven't been overly impressed. We decided to make a little longer drive to Middleville and the Thornapple Kitchen made it worth the drive. Reasonably priced, good portion sizes and really good food without all of the grease. We've found our go to breakfast restaurant.
