  Steak and cheese was dreadful. The sub roll is like one of those ones you are supposed to package and heat in the oven. But it wasn’t cooked. The cheese was unmelted on top. The meat had a weird twang to it. Really not good. I’d stay away.

  Excellent! Now that I have your attention. Let me tell you about this little gem in Middlebury VT. The parking lot is free, and easy to pull in and out of. There is indoor and outdoor seating. About a dozen or so tables inside, and a couple picnic tables out front on the grass. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Emma ( i hope i spelled it right) was the best! Great smile and very friendly. The food was amazing. I had the Salty bird (pesto mayo). They have several homemade mayos to choose from. I also had the 7 south burger with VT cheddar. They were both delicious. The burger was seasoned well and the bun was perfect. The Salty Pesto sandwich was out of this world. The bread was toasted, the ingredients were fresh, and that homemade pesto mayo hit the spot. I'll definitely be returning when I'm in the Middlebury area. If I had one suggestion it would be to get some bar seating in the wating area. Maybe that spot by the glass that faces the road. A few stools and a bar top would be great for singles and couples to sit. Just a thought.

  Cindy and all the staff were very friendly and always smiling! Food was delicious, they make their own mayo in house and hand cut all their own french fries! They also make all their soups from scratch and the salad portions are huge!

  I love 7 South it is a favorite place to go to. The staff is so friendly and helpful I love their cheese steak sandwiches and their buffalo chicken wraps! They also have the best fried pickles and onion rings! Thank you 7 South!!!

  Great Sweet & Savory sandwich and Cheesesteak! But my favorite were the fried cheese curds. The dip that came with it was to die for! Highly recommend!
