  Mahoney’s Hideaway is an absolute hidden gem! I had the Mic Smash Burger with fries, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The burger was cooked to perfection. The house-made sauce was amazing too, and paired perfectly with both the burger and fries.
  
  What truly stood out to me was the level of care and attention the owner put into our meal. I’m allergic to pickles, and he made sure everything was 100% safe for me—he even confirmed that the sauce was pickle-free and prepared a separate batch just for us. We also don’t eat bacon, and as soon as we mentioned that, he cleaned the grills before making our food to avoid any cross-contamination. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can genuinely taste the quality in every bite.
  It’s rare to find this kind of dedication these days, especially in a quiet, small-town spot like this. You can tell he really cares about his food and his customers.
  
  If you’re anywhere near Champlain, NY, this place is 100% worth the stop. Delicious food, incredible service, and a truly personal touch—you won’t be disappointed!

  Very unique restaurant in Champlian, Definitely a little gem of a restaurant, hidden in the back of the building.. just drive around. Joey makes incredible homemade soups, we had broccoli cheddar and chicken & dumpling with rosemary soups, along with grilled cheese and philadelphia steak sandwiches.
  Theme for October was Halloween, of course

  Hidden gem, wow the hamburger was delicious. The fries were fresh cut. Worth the time to check out. It is a little tricky to locate. The staff is very friendly. Makes ya feel like your walking into a family's house

  Mahoneys hideaway is soooooo yummy!!! His food is so amazing! I had a cheeseburger and Mac and cheese and yum yum yum! And not to mention he is a 100/10 for customer service!!! If you haven’t been or had his food you are MISSING OUT!

  This Philly Steak on Sourdough is amazing. No need for ketchup or mayo!!! Yummy, so happy I stopped here :) customer service excellent as well.
