  I can not say enough about the Dorset Inn. From the moment you walk in the door it is warm and welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quaint and spotlessly clean. The food is amazing and who doesn’t love a relaxing dinner in front of the fireplace? Every morning we were greeted by Scott at breakfast whose warm and friendly personality made for a great start to the day. At dinner our server Ilana was just as friendly and helpful with good advice on food choices. I don’t know the names of the people at the front desk but every one of them was also great. From the guided tour upon check in, to helpful advice on local sights, shopping and dining, nothing was lacking. Speaking of dining, the only reason to eat anyplace else is to try Pearl’s Place where the food was incredible (try the bacon clothesline!) and the portions were huge. Well worth the 15 minute drive from the inn. This place is a true gem, it’s no wonder they have stayed in business for over 200 years.

  Stayed at the Inn for a family wedding. The inn was historic and very nicely preserved. The rooms and bathrooms were updated and there was nothing lacking.
  We had a family dinner the first night and I would like to shout out to the bartender Sofia who made great Mojitos and bartender TJ who was a hoot and the breakfast servers in the garden room were both very nice and accommodating. Thank you!!

  What a beautiful inn and so lovingly maintained and artfully decorated for Christmas. With a nod to past traditions each room was beautifully decorated and made for such a cozy and memorable stay.
  With so many inns in the NE this was the finest historically I have ever stayed in. The staff was helpful and charming and made everyone feel comfortable and very welcome.
  Start to finish the reservation was efficiently handl d and the follow up very well done. This was hospitality at its best.
  The food was wonderful and I highly recommend st least s two night stay!

  We loved ThenDorset Inn. So charming and the staff is wonderful. The room was very spacious and the bed was.comfortable. we dined in the Tavern and the food and libations were delicious. As well.as the wonderful breakfast each morning. Can't wait to return.

  We had a delicious dinner here and breakfast at their bakery down the street. The luxury room with fireplace and separate sitting area on the first floor with a hot tub was perfect. The standard queen room was small. For those who like soft beds, you will be pleased.
