  Dorset Bakery made planning our wedding desserts extremely simple and they even delivered to Stratton Mountain Resort. We went with a semi naked cake and array of cupcakes and whoopie pies. They were able to offer a gluten free & dairy free cupcake flavor for some of our guests allergies. The cupcakes were frosted to look like delicate peonies, dahlias, and roses. Everything was lightly dusted in gold leaf for a subtle elegance. The chocolate sponge with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream was our favorite, along with the pumpkin whoopie pie. Everything was absolutely beautiful and delicious!

  So I think what others have said is true. It’s worth coming back 2x in one day. IMO slightly overpriced (avg $20 for a sandwich) BUT you get what you pay for. Portion could easily serve for several meals (I certainly saved for later) and was fresh as could be with what I felt were quality ingredients. The team of ladies serving me was professional, cheerful, and knowledgeable. I was told their pastries and baked goods sell out so fast that they rotate on a menu that is not weekly or even daily, but sometimes hourly! If you see something get it now because it might not be there if you blink an eye. The espresso chip cookie was pretty good, and I truly enjoyed the flourless chocolate torte. The highlight? The matcha latte. A must. I am working at the Vermont horse show down the road and this will definitely be a regular stop when I’m here !! I am a Matcha snob and this is one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Literally. And Ari is wonderful at the counter, great staff!!!

  We used Dorset Bakery for our wedding cake and wedding desserts. Everything we chose was absolutely delicious and the experience couldn’t have been better. Our semi-naked cake was made with vanilla cake and frosting, with one layer of peanut butter filling and one layer of coffee filling. Once cut, the cake disappeared so incredibly fast. It was so delicious. Ali’s vanilla cake is so soft and moist, it is the perfect pair for the flavored fillings.
  Beyond the cake, we chose mini cheesecakes (absolutely must have!!), strawberry shortcake shooters, cannoli shooters, and then 4 different types of cupcake: chocolate with peanut butter, vanilla with coffee, vanilla with cookies and cream, and maple bacon. The vanilla cupcakes are seriously the best, they just melt in your mouth.
  Beyond the delicious goods, working with Ali was a delight. We went in to visit her twice and were able to taste several combinations. The bakery itself is such a great spot for breakfast and a coffee, or lunch with a beer or wine. Ali was very helpful and very professional. Delivery and setup on the day of our wedding at Mountain Top Inn was mindless.
  We will absolutely be stopping in to see Ali at Dorset Bakery many times in our future.

  Sit for Coffee, grab a cupcake with a friend, have a lunch with a colleague, gather with family for a cozy breakfast or lunch. From great coffee to homemade cupcakes, cookies, pastries, cakes, breakfast to lunch and more! This is THE place to go!!
  
  Such a cute and quaint place for early mornings to afternoon.
  
  Kind staff, indoor & outdoor seating. Indoor is cozy and comfortable. Ample seating inside as well for 30+ people (I counted chairs 😂). You can’t go wrong!

  Chelsea was our baker and made the most stunning wedding cake of our dreams!!! Not only was the carrot cake exactly what we designed but was beyond delicious! The cake was so good that not only did we see people going back to seconds but a few people snuck slices back to their room at the end of the night. She also made the most amazing mini pies! Not only did people devour the cake but we had more pies than people and we still almost ran out! Highly highly recommend
