  An amazing lunch! Huge bacon cheeseburger with home fries, and was accompanied by amazing service. It is 21+ because it’s a restaurant that allows smoking inside while you eat. Felt like i was eating at my dad’s house. Total after tax was 31$.

  First thing to know, they allow smoking. This includes the cook. As soon as we ordered, the man behind us lit up and smoked and coughed the entire time we were there. Second thing to note: the bathroom has no hand soap or paper towels. This means that the employees aren’t using soap to wash their hands. And …. The bathroom is very dirty.
  
  The food was very good and also plentiful. No complaints about the food at all. They were very friendly and the service was good.
  
  Simply be aware that you very well could leave smelling like you’ve been in a smokey bar.

  Had a wonderful experience at the oldest café in Springfield. The sandwich was astounding. I ordered the patty melt. It was simple and delicious. The toast on the bread was perfectly golden brown from edge to edge, the beef expertly seasoned, the amount of cheese and grilled onions were perfect. I ordered a double, but a single would've been plenty. The fries were simple crinkle cut and really didn't add much to the plate but that didn't work bother me at all after the burger. I will be coming back for lunch and breakfast whenever I find myself hungry in Springfield again. Thanks so much for the wonderful meal.

  Don't let the small size or the exterior fool you. This place is proof that the best food doesn't need a fancy storefront. I just had the best Patty Melt—perfectly toasted, caramelized onions, and a patty so juicy it puts high-end steakhouses to shame. Like others have said , a total hidden gem!

  I came in today and had a Giant burger and home fries. Easily the best burger in Robertson County and easily the best burger I've had in forever. Felt like I was right at home or one of my grandparents houses. CANNOT WAIT TO TRY THE REST OF THE MENU!
