  I just had brunch here for my first time and I had such a nice time! The restaurant definitely a hidden gem! It's located on the first floor of an apartment complex so just keep your eyes peeled for the side entrance! Also the restaurant is cash only, but they have an atm inside for your convenience. I ordered their chicken and waffles with a side of fries, and my friend ordered their creme brulee french toast! Everything was fresh and delicious, the portions were generous, and our waiter was very attentive and pleasant! I'll definitely be back to try more things on the menu!

  Will definitely return! Our Thursday breakfast date landed us at Chef Vargas!! I am so glad it did. The establishment is quaint and feels like a special find in Elkins Park. The food was delicious. The menu selection is vast and has many options… I am hoping to return to try something else. 😊😊nThe host / server was welcoming and friendly. Thank you.

  Love this place. Discovered this place recently and been there two times already. The workers are so nice and efficient. The food is amazing. Their hot chocolate is so yummy.

  Small intimate family breakfast spot. They do serve brunch combos. Delicious food.
