Good crepes with a side selection of options and syrups. Maple syrup was not too heavy just right. Pick your table, order at the counter then they bring it out.

Nestled beside the ECHO Leahy Center and Burlington’s Waterfront Park, The Skinny Pancake is a charming brunch stop that feels perfectly at home in its surroundings. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it an inviting place to slow down after a museum visit or a stroll along the lake.

I ordered one of their sweet crêpes, generously dressed with chocolate sauce, banana slices, and strawberries. Each bite was indulgent and full of flavor—rich yet balanced, with fresh fruit adding brightness to the sweetness. It works equally well as a hearty breakfast or as an afternoon pick-me-up.

With its approachable menu and laid-back ambiance, The Skinny Pancake is an ideal choice for a weekend family meal or a casual dessert stop. It’s a reliably satisfying spot and well worth a visit when exploring Burlington’s waterfront.

Food was just average, and my hot chocolate should honestly be called cold chocolate.

Service was minimal — they brought part of the order, but my friend still had to go to the counter to collect items. Water, napkins, and everything else were self-service, and we were also expected to clear our own plates at the end.

What made the experience more frustrating was the tipping screen suggesting 21%, 18%, and 15%. For a place where customers are essentially doing most of the work themselves, this felt unreasonable. I ended up tipping 15%, but in hindsight, this really felt like a 0% tip experience. Also it’s not a high end restaurant to prompt that much also tourist trap !!!

We came here on a busy Sunday for brunch. Our group was pretty large so we split up into two tables. The staff was pretty accommodating and helped out. You place your order at the register and they bring the food to your table when it’s ready. There’s quite a few options to choose from, both savoury and sweet. We got an apple and brie crepe and a breakfast burrito, along with some fried cheese curds which were delicious.

Super cool Spot for breakfast or lunch that’s right by the water. Got the heartbreaker which was strawberries and banana with Nutella. It was so good and it was a good portion as well. I also got a side of home fries but I wasn’t able to finish it. The pesto sauce complimented it really well. Cashier was super friendly and let us sample some cider since we were indecisive.
