We stayed at the Eastwind for 4 days last week. This place is fantastic. We had a large, well appointed room with a great view of the harbor. The morning breakfasts were amazing! The staff throughout the property were phenomenal! The grounds with the fire pit were very nice. One thing that would be nice, would be to have a mini-fridge in each room, rather than sharing one in the hall.
We will definitely be back and can’t wait for our next visit!

A wonderful place and well enjoyed by my wife and myself. Gorgeous harbor views, peace and serenity. And thanks to Danielle we were welcomed and at ease in this quiet corner. And not to forget the harbor bistrot where we enjoyed great seafood. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at the East Wind 3 years in a row to celebrate our anniversary. The owners Danielle and Brian are wonderful, as is all there staff. The breakfasts are wonderful, the views are amazing and relaxing. We live in Maine and grew up on mid coast Maine, but enjoy the area because it is quite and relaxing ,not touristy. Thank you once again for making our anniversary special!

East Wind Inn is fantastic, full stop. My wife and I have been coming for over a decade. That said, if you’re going to call something paella, it needs to have the crisped rice on the bottom of the pan, otherwise it’s a saffron seafood porridge. The meal was spectacular but both my wife and I were surprised and saddened by this decision/oversight. Always a great place to go if you’re under 60 and want to feel young again (especially before 6:30 PM)

Its the people and the location that make EWI a special place. So grateful for Adam, the chef and the management for making it so special for my wife to celebrate her birthday by accommodating our vegan preferences and thoughtful meals. The New England Charm is in full force here!

Being honest, the rooms are not sound isolated (lot of noise from floor upstairs) and the mattresses are not good (soft and sunken in on sleeping sides and raised in the middle, indicative of long use perhaps). But the folks and the location more than made up for it. It’s a special place!
