★ 5I think what you expect from instagram to reality could be different and that was the case for us. The place is clean, amazing, little small but could fit parties of all sizes. They also have high chair for kids. They accommodated to park our stroller. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The chai latte was amazing (sweet, how I like it). They do have halal options (check with your server before ordering). Parking could be challenging.

★ 5Had the most delicious meal here the other day that I have been raving about. I’ve never been a fan of a sweet breakfast but they had some pancakes that caught my eye.
I had my husband order the tried and true chicken & waffles (just in case lol). But let me tell you about these pancakes. It was tiramisu red velvet pancakes with mascarpone, chocolate chips, blueberries, and strawberries. It was DIVINE. Whichever chef thought of that is a genius. The service was great too, and the owner is so nice. I will be back to see Round 2 of that meal.
Overall good food, cute spot, and attentive service. I can see why Cafe La Maude always lands in the top brunch spots in Philly! -

★ 5Been wanting to come here with a friend for a while, and we are SO glad we did. We went on a Friday at 2:00 pm-ish and there was a good amount of seating open!
Food: 5/5. Genuinely ALL of the menu sounded and looked absolutely amazing. We got the red velvet tiramisu pancakes and shakshuka, and both were absolutely delicious. I feel as though shakshuka is something that is pretty much standardized all across restaurants, but here, it tasted even better than normal. The pancakes were also SO delicious, and while I am not typically a breakfast food person, the pancakes were just the right level of sweet, not being overly sweet. Loved.
Service: 5/5. The service was very attentive, prompt, and friendly. Our waiters were all very nice and helpful!
Atmosphere: 4/5. Only because I felt as though it was cramped and hectic (as expected, I know, but just personal preference for a brunch place, and nothing wrong with that!). I think if you want a relaxing, peaceful sit-down brunch, this might not be ideal, but that does not take away from their restaurant.
Overall, I have to say that this might take the spot as my favorite brunch spot in all of Philly, and I hope to come back soon. Highly recommend! -

★ 5Had to wait a little to get seated, but once we were inside, things moved quickly.
I ordered hot chocolate, and my partner got chai. I was worried my drink was going to be too sweet, but it was perfect. The chai was amazing too, as was our food. I got the salmon fumé, and the flavors were very well balanced.
We loved it so much we came back the next day and got huevos rancheros and chicken and waffles. Both were delicious. 10 out of 10. -

★ 5Excellent food, anything on the menu is great. The french toast with nutella was great just the right amount of nutella and has berry sauce that makes a perfect combo. The open face burrito is divine with unique flavors signature to Lebanese food.
