  Hey that was pretty good. Everything was made fresh and tasted really good. I got the Works omelette and it really did have it all in there. The potatoes were nice and crispy. Blueberries pancakes were nice and fluffy. If you are driving by, stop for some tasty food

  Wonderful spot to grab lunch. We had chicken stew, a Ruben, a grilled cheese, fries and onion rings. The stew was fresh and tasted homemade. The grilled cheese and Ruben were perfectly toasted. The fries were thin and crispy and the onion rings had a nice batter with just the right amount of seasoning.
  
  It’s exactly the atmosphere you expect this far up in Maine. Casual dine in or take out restaurant with great service and homemade food. The whole property looked very tidy, then you look into the kitchen… immaculate! These people obviously take pride in what they do. We will definitely be back!

  Excellent service and food. We had breakfast. I ordered my eggs over medium and they were actually cooked over medium -- I think that's maybe the 2nd time ever! The corned beef hash was actual corned beef hash, not the canned variety that many restaurants seem to serve. The coffee was the kind of diner coffee that floats my boat, just plain good. I look forward to many more meals at Porter's!

  Ate there twice! Don't let the humble surroundings fool you, this is an amazing stop for breakfast or lunch, with fresh, quality ingredients and served piping hot. The homemade donuts took my 81 year old dad back to his childhood, and we all agreed were the best we ever had. Homemade bread is a hit as well.

  Harkens back to a simpler time, felt like we went back 50 years. Clearly a family owned business. Wholesome, plain, not fancy. We just stopped for gas and the attendant pumped it for us. There was a short order cook providing delicious looking and smelling made-to-order food. We hope to stop back and try some
