  The food was delicious and Jenny was a delight-especially when she told us about falling in love with the house and its history. The cheesecake with the crème brûlée top with chocolate and the raspberry sauce was a combination I will be trying to recreate-but will most likely never master. Everything we had was delicious but the desert and the fiddlehead ferns were divine.

  Overdue to share my review! I've been 3x now, and each experience gets better and better.
  
  Everything on their menu looks incredible! When you see plates coming out you wish you had ordered one of everything.
  
  Every portion we've been served has been massive. We got lasagna this weekend... Shared that, with nachos. We took half the lasagna home and that was another full meal for me. The pile of nachos is no joke, a massive mountain of delicious and fresh ingredients!
  
  The Caesar dressing...I was about to lick my plate after I finished my salad. My 2 year old even liked it!
  
  We've also enjoyed the bruschetta when it was in season (with homegrown tomatoes 👀)nnEach time we've come in, Ive had my 2 year old daughter with me. All the staff is kind and interacts with her like the little human she is.
  
  The most recent visit, my MIL actually thought they missed something off the bill because she thought the price was TOO LOW for all the food!
  
  So grateful to have such a gem in the Katahdin region. We severely lack in options but this is worth the travel!
  
  We'll be back, again and again and again.

  Took my wife here for our shared birthday. The folks working were all great, putting us in our own space so we could have our privacy. The ambience was appreciated and they even wrote us a note wishing us both happy birthday. They made the date feel special. We enjoyed everything we ordered, and will definitely be coming back. It's a unique space, clean, and everyone we met involved were all kind and you could tell they care about their restaurant.

  You asked me to elaborate on the three star rating. The reason I gave three stars was because tbh the food was not very good. The Chinese chicken wraps were strange. The meat was mushy, very salty, and reminded us of a can of cat food. We ordered a pesto pasta dish and nachos. The food was extremely overpriced and not very tasty. We were excited to eat there because it was advertised as the best restaurant in The County, so we were very disappointed. I didn’t want to say all this stuff but you asked me to give a reason. We gave three stars for effort

  My husband and I are visiting from Seattle and we stopped by with my parents yesterday. We had a great experience and highly recommend Salted Butter Farm. The owner was friendly and made us feel at home, the portions were generous, prices were very fair, and our server, Mackenzie, provided excellent service. We'll definitely return next time we're in Sherman.
