Phenomenal experience here this morning, Olivia was an absolute delight and very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She made the experience wonderful, great server. The food was awesome, the maple hot sauce wasn’t my favorite but it doesn’t mean it was bad because my wife loved it so just preference. Potatoes were crispy and cooked, seasoned decently well. Wife had the chowder and LOVED it, fresh and flavorful every bite hit the mark and it reminded her of her mothers she used to make so that was a nice addition to the meal. 11/10 would recommend giving this place a shot if you are looking for a great dining experience. Restaurant was clean and well kept as were the bathrooms, great playlist that fit the atmosphere as well. Great job yall!

What an incredible find. We stumbled upon this brunch spot by chance, and it truly feels like a hidden gem in this small town. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the interior that is beautifully designed, cozy, and effortlessly aesthetic.

We ordered the Chicken and Grits and the Chicken and Biscuit, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Everything was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after you leave.

Between the amazing food and the stunning atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re anywhere nearby!

I’m conflicted writing this review. I love the food but, I want to keep the Buttermilk Kitchen for myself! Generous portions of flavor-rich food. Friendly staff. Sturdy black coffee. Simple and functional space with a focus on the food made this meal a 5-star experience. Can’t wait to return.

I have traveled all over the United States. And I can probably state that this has been the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had. It was very fast service. The views were wonderful. I would go back again in a heartbeat. I have already added it to my list of places to go. I highly recommend this place.
I did add two eggs to the biscuits and gravy, which definitely is something I like to do so I think it’s necessary for them. But I think you’d be happy even if you didn’t. But I just think everyone should go here.

This place was so yummy we ate here three times on our trip:nnOn a trip to Camden in late December, we were warmed each morning with delicious breakfast from Buttermilk. Although we enjoy eating at different places, this place was so yummy we returned thrice. The service was amazing, food served with a smile.

On the first morning we ate at a half booth in the back, perfect for a couple (not so good for larger people) but the view of the frozen harbor was lovely. I ate the chicken and grits with eggs over easy. Never have I ever enjoyed chicken for breakfast so much. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the grits had pimento cheese and was drizzled with a sweet and spicy something. Yum. My partner had a traditional scrambled egg breakfast, and Olivia introduced us to the blueberry jam to accompany the biscuits.

In our return visit, I intentionally ordered the fried green tomato melt, the special of the day. It hit the spot, and if you have never tried fried green tomatoes, they have them on the menu I highly recommend them. They are slightly pickled, served with Alabama Ranch.

On New Year’s Day we were summoned back to Camden because we left something behind, and the blueberry basil preserves beckoned us back for more drop biscuits. I had the corned beef cabbage soup for brekky because- why not?!

We plan to return next year to visit Olivia, Erin and Allie and stock up on more blueberry and basil jam. Say hi for me when you stop in for a bite!
